第一代Escort 带有标志性的“狗骨头”前脸轮廓，虽然远不如欧宝Kadett那样受欢迎，但是这款车赢得了经济型房车的运动版车型拉力赛
第二代Escort沿袭了其前身的底盘、后轮驱动，在当年的秋季，增加了110马力的RS 2000这款车采用了当时流行的圆灯设计风格
Escort III搭载了前轮驱动、新式发动机和大型尾门。

1983年，福特推出了更高级别的轿车Orion，并首次增加了柴油发动机车型
这个新名字表明福特对紧凑型福特车型进行了重新调整，这款车的优势是底盘反应敏捷、转向精准，凸显了ST版卓越的运动特质
第四代车型推出两年后，Cosworth作为这个系列动力最为强劲的车型，搭载了 220马力的涡轮增压发动机和一般用于拉力赛赛车的那种巨大尾翼
这个大型改款车型搭载了塑料保险杠、ABS，以及带有催化净化器的发动机。

自1983年以来由Karmann制造的敞篷车也采用了这些配置
6年后，福克斯在外觀上做了全面翻新，此外，还基于福特C平台，打造了马自达3和沃尔沃S40 / V50，并于2003年推出了紧凑型MPV C-Max
和欧宝 Astra Twintop 和大众Eos一样，福特福克斯作为一款轿跑车，配备了电动开闭式硬顶。

福特汽车发展史１８９６年６月４日，亨利·福特将他的第一部汽车——一部手推车车架装在四个自行车车轮上的四轮车开上了底特律大街。

预紧力的大小是保证连接质量的重要因素,而影响预紧力的主要因素除了使用的工具及拧紧方法外就是紧固件本身的摩擦系数。

试验设备ISO 16047标准中要求试验设备应满足：能够应用扭紧扭矩和用自动或手动旋转螺帽和螺栓头部，显示精度值要求±2%，角度的测量精度要求必须达到显示值的±2°或±2%.为了达到仲裁的目的，扭紧时使用能控制的动力工具并控制旋转速度保持恒定。

测量结果能以电子记录方式记录。

本文所有试验结果均使用衡翼HYtest多功能螺栓紧固分析系统。

此实验测试机传感器精度均为0。

第一组试验螺母按照ISO 4042镀锌并脱脂处理，镀层厚度为8.6μm，螺母公差6H，试验数据见表2。
