新年趣味传说故事英文作文英文:New Year is a time for fun and celebration, and there are many interesting legends and stories associated withthis holiday. One of my favorite New Year legends is the story of the Nian monster. According to legend, the Nian monster was a terrifying creature that would come out of hiding on New Year's Eve to terrorize the villagers. The monster was said to be afraid of loud noises and the color red, so the villagers would light fireworks and hang red decorations to keep the monster away.Another fun New Year legend is the story of the red envelope. In Chinese culture, it is customary to give red envelopes filled with money to children during the New Year. The legend behind this tradition is that there was once a demon who would come to steal children on New Year's Eve. However, the demon was afraid of the color red, so parents would put money in red envelopes and give them to theirchildren to keep them safe.I also love the story of the New Year's Eve feast. In many cultures, it is traditional to have a big feast on New Year's Eve. The idea behind this tradition is that by eating a lot on New Year's Eve, you will have plenty of food and good luck throughout the coming year.中文:新年是一个充满乐趣和庆祝的时刻,与这个节日有许多有趣的传说和故事相关。
