This instruction is only intended for internal use by Honeywell.This instruction DOES NOT apply to installing the Windows 2000Server, or the Windows 2000 Professional software, or to makingconnections to “public” networks such as an office Ethernet.The person who performs this installation must be well acquaintedwith the architecture of the Experion PKS with PMD Controllersystem and its functions. In addition, he or she must be familiar withthe related system terminology, plus the Windows 2000 system andits terminology, in relation to installing the PMD software.Server1.2 PMDAs a product, the PMD Server is a software entity installed on a PC-type computer. The entity consists of commercial software packagesand software packages produced by Honeywell’s Varkaus Unit andother centers of excellence.Experion PKS with PMD Controller system version 610 can beconfigured on two different levels. Insert Experion PKS R201.0-30.6 Support CD andclick Yes.Experion PKS Installing the software in the PMD Server computer • 3The program installs SP4 for Windows 2000.Click OK.After the Reboot operation log in as an Administrator.Click OK.After the Reboot operation log in as an Administrator.Click OK.After the Reboot operation log in as an Administrator.The CD will eject. Insert Experion PKS R201.0-30.6 Base CD and clickYes.4 • Installing the software in the PMD Server computer Experion PKSSelect Experion PKS Server (Scada Points) and click Next.Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next.Change the MNGR Password to mngr123, confirm it and click Next. Experion PKS Installing the software in the PMD Server computer • 5Click Install.Click Continue.The program installs SQL Server.Press OK.After the Reboot operation log in as an Administrator.The program installs SP3 for SQL Server.6 • Installing the software in the PMD Server computer Experion PKSThe CD will eject. Insert Experion PKS R201.0-30.6 KnowledgeBuilder CD.Note! Wait a few seconds until the operating system has detected thenew CD. Click Yes.The program will install Acrobat Reader. Click Next.Click Next.Click OK.Experion PKS Installing the software in the PMD Server computer • 7Click Next.Click Yes.Select Full and Click Next.Select Experion PKS R20x and click Next.Click Next.Click Next.Click Finish once the Knowledge Builder installation is complete.The CD will eject. Insert Experion PKS R201.0-30.6 Applications CD. Note! Wait a few seconds until the operating system has detected the new CD. Click Yes.Click OK. The computer will restart. Log on as an Administrator. The installation will continue automatically.Enter the System and Authorization numbers from your Experion PKS Server licence. Click Next.Click Next.Click OK.Click Install.Click Finish.Click Finish.2.3 Experion PKS R201 Updates installationPreparing the update installation•Stop all the EPKS Server services and unload the Database bytyping the following at a Command Prompt:hscserver /unload /y•Stop SQL Server and all services dependent on it by typingthe following at a Command Prompt:net stop mssqlserver /y•Stop all the SM* Services (if installed) from the Servicesapplet.2.3.1 PKS_SC_201.0-34.7_Update2C(RevF) installationAccess the directory EPKS R201 Updates\PKS_Sc_201.0-34.7_Update2C(RevF)\ on the PMD installation CD and double-clickon the icon setup.exe.Press Next.Press Stop.Press Next.Press Next.Press Install.Press Finish.Press Yes.Note! Restart the computer. Log on the computer using the administrator user authorization.2.4 XML for SQL Server installationNote! The Experion PKS R300 software must be installed prior toinstalling the SqlXml software.Access the SqlXml directory on the PMD installation CD and double-click the sqlxml.msi icon.Click Next.Select I accept terms in the License Agreement and click Next.Click Next.Click OK.Click Install Now.Click Finish.2.5 PMD software installationAccess the PMD directory on the PMD installation CD and double-click the setup.exe icon.Click Next.Click Yes.Select the Faceplate language and click Next.The non-redundant PMD Server is installed by selecting PMD Server. Access the field Department name and enter the name of the department. Enter the server’s IP address in the field IP Address for PMD Server.The redundant PMD Server A is installed by selecting Redundant PMD Server A. Access the field Department name and enter the name of the department. Enter the floating IP address of the PMD Server in the field Floating IP Address for Redundant PMD Servers. Enter the Subnet Mask of the System Net in the field Subnet Mask. Correct the IP addresses of the PMD Servers A and B in the fields IP Address for PMD Server A and IP Address for PMD Server B. Access the field Host Name for PMD Server B and correct the Host Name of the PMD Server B.The redundant PMD Server B is installed by selecting Redundant PMD Server B. Access the field Department name and enter the name of the department. Enter the floating IP address of the PMD Server in the field Floating IP Address for Redundant PMD Servers. Enter the Subnet Mask of the System Net in the field Subnet Mask. Correct the IP addresses of the PMD Servers A and B in the fields IP Address for PMD Server A and IP Address for PMD Server B. Access the field Host Name for PMD Server A and correct the Host Name of the PMD Server A.The Next push button will be activated once all the fields are filled in with specific information. Continue by pressing Next.Click Next.(Outputs in case of the initial installation only) Click Yes.(Outputs in case of the initial installation only) Click Next.Click Finish.Click Finish.The computer will restart. Log on the computer using the administrator user authorization. Once the login is complete, the remaining files will be registered and the installation finished automatically.2.6 Post-installation procedure in the PMD Server 2.6.1 SQL-Server ConfigurationNote! The SQL-Server Configuration is defined in an initialinstallation only.Start the SQL Server Enterprise Manager.Right-click the xxxPDSA Server icon and choose Properties.Click on Network Configuration.Choose Named Pipes and click Enable.Click OK.Click OK.Select the Memory tab. Select Use fixed memory size (MB) and select 160 MB.Authentication. Click OK.Click Yes.NOTE! Updating the changes takes several minutes, don’t rush, waituntil the operation is finished.Click OK and close the SQL Server Enterprise Manager.2.6.2 PDSViewer; defining the virtual directoryNote! The virtual directory is defined in an initial installation only.Select Start / Programs / SQLXML 3.0 / Configure IIS Support to startIIS Virtual Directory Management for SQL Server 3.0.click the New/Virtual Directory.Access the Virtual Directory Name field and type PDSViewer, then access the Local Path field and use the Browse function to selectC:\Program Files\Honeywell\PMDC\PMDTools.Select the Security tab. Select Use Windows Integrated Authentication.and select PDS from the list box in the Database field.Select the Settings tab and check the box Allow sql=… or template=.Click Yes.Select other settings as shown in the picture above.Select the Virtual Names tab and click the <New Virtual Name>. Access the Name field and type template, then access the Type field and select template. Click the button located at the end of the Pathrow.Select C:\Program Files\Honeywell\PMDC\PMDTools\template and click OK.Click Save.Click the <New Virtual Name> again.Access the Name field and type schema, then access the Type field andselect schema. Click the button located at the end of the Path row.Select C:\Program Files\Honeywell\PMDC\PMDTools\schema and click OK.Click Apply and OK.Select Console/Exit to close IIS Virtual Directory Management. Select Start /Programs / Administrative Tools / Internet Services Manager to start the Internet Services Manager.Double-click the xxxPDSx icon. Right click the Default Web Site to select New/Virtual Directory.Click Next.Access the Alias field, type PMDTools and click Next.Access the Directory field and use the Browse function to select C:\Program Files\Honeywell\PMDC\PMDTools. Click OK.Click Next.Click Next.Click Finish.Right-click on the PDMTools and select Properties.Select the Directory Security tab. Click Edit to Enable anonymous access and authentication control.Remove the selection Anonymous access. Click OK.Click Edit to IP address and domain name restrictions.Select Denied Access and Click Add.Select Group of computers, access the field Network ID and enter the Network address. Enter 255.255.255.0 in the field Subnet Mask. Click OK.Click OK and OK.Close the Internet Information Services program.2.6.3 HMIWeb Display Builder startmodeSelect Start / Programs / Honeywell Experion PKS / Server / HMIWebDisplay Builder, right-click it and select Properties.Change the startmode to PMD at the end of the Target line and clickOK.2.7 FTESee document FTE installation on production R612.pdf. Thedocument is located in the directory Documents on the PMDinstallation CD.2.8 Installing Experion PKS System TranslationsSee document Installing Experion PKS System Translations.pdf.The document is located in the directory Documents on the PMDinstallation CD.3 Installing the software in theHMIWeb or DM computer3.1 Preparing the installationPrior to installing the PMD software, check:•that all the programs mentioned in sections1.6 (HMIWeb / DM computer software requirements), havebeen installed and that partitions C and D are found on thehard disk (DM).•Use the Administrator user authorization to install thesoftware.3.2 Installing the HMIWeb R4.0.700.16 versionNote! Make sure that the Experion PKS 201 Application Software CDyou use includes the HMIWeb R4.0.700.16 software version.Access the SERVER-CLIENT directory on the Experion PKS 201Application Software installation CD and double-click the SETUP.EXEicon.Click Next.Select Experion PKS Server Client setup and click Next.Click Next.Click Install.Click Finish.Click Yes.The computer will restart. Log on the computer using theAdministrator user authorization.3.3 Experion PKS R201 Updates installation3.3.1 PKS_Sc_201.0-34.7_Update2C(RevF) installationAccess the directory EPKS R201 Updates\PKS_SC_201.0-34.7_Update2C(RevF) on the PMD installation CD and double-click onthe icon setup.exe.Press Next.Press Next.Press Next.Press Install.Press Finish.Press Yes.Note! Restart the computer. Log on the computer using the administrator user authorization.3.4 PMD software installationNote! The Experion PKS 201 Server Client software must be installedprior to installing the PMD software.Access the PMD directory on the PMD installation CD and double-click the setup.exe icon.Click Next.Click Yes.Select the Faceplate language and click Next.In the non-redundant PMD Server environment, the PMD software is installed by selecting HMI or DM. Access the field Department name and enter the PMD department name. Enter the IP address of the PMD Server in the field IP Address for PMD Servers, then access the field Host Name for PMD Server and enter the Host name of the PMD Server.In the redundant PMD Server environment the PMD software is installed by selecting HMI or DM with Redundant PMD Server. Access the field Department name and enter the name of the department. Enter the floating IP address of the PMD Server in the field Floating IP Address for Redundant PMD Servers. Correct the IP addresses of the PMD Servers A and B in the fields IP Address for PMD Server A and IP Address for PMD Server B. Enter the Host Name of the PMD ServerA andB in the field Host Name for PMD Server A and Host Name for PMD Server B.The Next push button will be activated once all the fields are completed with specific information. The PMD software must be installed prior to installing the DMsoftware.Access the DM\Disk1 directory on the installation CD and click thekillpros.bat icon.Access the DM\Disk1 directory on the installation CD and double-click the SETUP.EXE icon.Click Next.Click Next.Select Typical and click Next.Click Next.Type D and click Next.Click Next.Select the system language version and click Next.Click Next.Click Finish. The computer may restart.3.6 VSYS 7x0.0xx installation (only in the DM)Access the VSYS\vsys7x0.0xx\disk1directory on the PMD installationCD and double-click the Setup.exe icon.Click Next (Note! The V7x0_00x text will change according to theversion).Click Next.Click Next.Click No.Click No.Click OK.3.7 PMD Display Object Library installation (only inthe DM)Access the directory PMD Display Object Library on the PMDinstallation CD and double-click on the icon PMD Display ObjectLibrary xxx.exe.Press Unzip.Press OK and close the WinZip window.3.8 Post-installation procedure in the DM PC3.8.1 HMIWeb Display Builder startmodeSelect Start / Programs / Honeywell Experion PKS / Client Software /HMIWeb Display Builder, right-click it and select Properties.Change startmode to PMD at the end of the Target line and click OK.3.8.2 Shapes PathsStart the HMIWeb Display Builder by selecting Start / Programs /Honeywell Experion PKS / Client Software / HMIWeb Display Builder.Select Tools/Options.Select the Shapes tab. Press Add. Press the Browse pushbutton at theend of the line.。
