Part A Read and write
Teaching aims：
1.知识目标：
（1）听、说、读、写句型：What can you do? I can sweep the floor. I can cook the meals. I can water the flowers!
（2）听、说、认读句子：Mother Goat is ill. We can help her. Just do it. （3）总结字母组合or, all, pl, pr的发音规律，并能朗读Pronunciation部分的例词。
2.能力目标：
（1）通过阅读，能完成Read and write 的句子回答。
（2）会唱Let’s sing 的歌曲“ I can help”
3.情感目标：
通过学习日常家务劳动的表达，培养学生时刻用英语去思考的良好习惯。
在活动中学习，培养学生学习的兴趣以及学生之间的团结合作意识。
教学重难点：
本课时的教学重点是掌握四会句型：What can you do? I can sweep the floor.
I can cook the meals. I can water the flowers，并能在情景中自然的加以运用。
本课时的教学难点是正确拼写主要句型。

【新思路】Unit4第五课时教案课时目标1. 掌握以oo字母组合的单词的发音规则，并能读出相关例词。
如. book, look, football, good, balloon, food, zoo, noodles。
2. 能听、说、读、写单词：book, look, football, good, balloon, food, zoo, noodles。
3. 了解play的用法。
教学重难点1. 重点：培养学生拼读音标词的能力。
2. 难点：能在类似的实际情境中灵活地应用本课时的四会句子。

教学过程一、热身( Warm-up)1. 单词抢读竞赛教师出示以下三组单词，学生快速抢读。
(l)cow, flower, wow, down, snow. window, yellow, slow(2)baby, happy, windy, sunny. sorry(3)feet, meet. read, eat2. 活动：最佳搭档活动方式：甲、乙两位学生背靠背，甲问乙：What can you do?乙做一个动作，甲必须说出这个动作的意思，如果甲说的和乙的动作一致，则说明他们是心有灵犀，是“最佳搭档”。
3. 问答接龙S1: What can you do?S2:I can sing. What can you do?S3:I can sing and dance. What can you do?S4:I can sing, dance and draw pictures. 第五课时一、课时内容教科书第43-44页：B. Read and write Let’s check.二、课时分析本课时是义务教育灵通版（pep）小学英语教科书五年级上册的第四单元第五课时,围绕“What can you do?”这个话题展开内容。
包括Read and write和Let’s check.两个板块。
Read and write是阅读训练板块,是在学习A和B重点单词以及重点问答对话句型等两大板块之后,精心设置的灵活运用的训练板块,阅读题目是“谁可以成为我的好朋友？”,内容是以电子邮件形式呈现的,呈现了本单元的重点陈述句型I can…和I can’t…机器人Robin介绍自己会说英语和汉语,会练功夫和打乒乓球,但是不会游泳,希望通过网络交个朋友。
网上交友也是学生们的热门话题,因此非常感兴趣,又因短文中大多都是刚学过的重点句型,学生们在理解上没有太多的生词困难,属于好学易懂的短文类型,便于学生们能够独立完成后面的阅读训练题。
阅读训练题分两个部分,第一部分是根据短文内容判断句子正误,在学生们理解短文内容的基础上,把每一句话与原文进行对比,再做出正确的判断。
第二部分是假设你愿意成为Robin的朋友,写出有关文娱活动自己的三句话,首先用I can表达自己会做某事,再用I can’t 表达自己不会做某事,训练的主要意图就是可以帮助学生们掌握阅读技巧,提高阅读理解能力,增强阅读判断力,训练学生能够灵活运用含有can的肯定句和否定句,增长孩子们的自信心。
Let’s check.是一个听力训练,共有两个听力板块,第一个是要求学生根据听到的内容给John和张鹏的活动项目打对勾或打叉,第二个板块是要求学生根据听力内容和刚完成的表格填写合适的短语,写出John和张鹏可以一起做什么事情,达到了检验学生辨别听力和阅读理解能力的最好效果。
本课时是提升学生的阅读能力和听力的训练板块,为了帮助学生们更好的发挥自己的阅读和听力潜能,教师需要精心备课,为学生们准备充足的项目与活动,充分利用课堂时间,让学生们得到更多的阅读能力训练。

二、教学重、难点分析1、本课时的教学重点是有关家务劳动的五个动词词组。
2、本课时的教学难点是正确书写四个动词词组以及运用句型“I can…”进行表述。
三、课前准备1、教师准备录音及录音带。
2、教师准备Let’s learn部分的动词卡。
3、教师准备两个充气锤。
四、教学过程1、热身（Warm up）播放三年级上册第二单元C部分的歌曲“Colour Song”，全班学生一起进行表演唱。
把全班同学分为七个小组分别代表一种颜色。
唱到哪一种颜色的代表该颜色的小组就起立并拍手，唱到“I can sing a rainbow.”时，学生可以适当的身体语言表现彩虹的形态。
2、预习（preview）Lets startT:How many door/lights/boards/…can you see?S:I can see…让学生看Let’s start部分的挂图。
T：I can clean the board.What can you do?引导学生用“I can…”回答，并鼓励学生尽量多地利用已学动词（词组）。
3、新课呈现（Presentation）Let’s learn(1)教师在黑板上画一些花，说：I can draw flowers.教师边做浇花的动作边说：Look!I can water the flowers.I’m helpful!同时板书：I’m helpful!I can water the flowers.然后教师问学生：Can you?引导学生做出回答。
