这是一个关于选择的话题,内容丰富有趣,与学生的生活息息相关,深受学生喜爱。
在这节课里,学生有两个任务。
阅读任务:快速选择带来的问题;写作任务:给史密斯先生写一封信。
本课属叙述型,框架清晰,所以学生在预习的基础上通过教师的引导即可完成相关练习。
因为学生平时的写作练习少,所以学生对写作比较恐惧。
为了降低学生对写作的恐惧,让学生有话可写,笔者结合学生未来的职业,为学生重新设计了写作任务:为Sue选择一个合适的医院,并给她写一封信。
即将毕业的Sue收到两个医院的录用通知:一个是来自Milk town,一个来自她的家乡。
二、教学对象笔者所教授的学生是一群积极努力、乐观向上的白衣天使。
她们喜欢新鲜有趣的事情,而且比较独立,有自己的想法,而且经常自己做选择,但是有时候她们不知道如何做出更加合理的选择。
同时,她们已经掌握了许多词汇和使用方法,但是依然害怕阅读和写作。
三、教学目标根据教学大纲、教学内容和教学对象,设定了以下教学目标:知识目标:能够掌握与选择有关的词汇和词组。
能力目标:能够使用阅读技巧在文中搜索到有用的信息;会使用同意和不同意的相关表达。
情感目标:明白“三思而后行”的重要性。
根据学生的认知背景,本次课的教学重点:能够使用阅读技巧在文中搜索到有用的信息;会使用同意和不同意的相关表达。
后一点也是教学难点。
四、教学方法为了达成教学目标,笔者使用了过程写作模式,包括五个部分:预写作,打草稿,修改,校订,发表。
