Step1 Warming up

任务设计: 1. Watch the video of a basketball game(NBA)

2. show up the pictures of basketball, NBA, and Yaoming.

Step2 Lead-in

任务设计:Have you ever played basketball? Do you know Yaoming ? And What is NBA? (设计目的:前面已经讨论过运动,由运动引入篮球,学生平时也打篮球,看NBA,对乔丹也很感兴趣,在阅读之前谈论这个话题,是为了在图式理论的指导下,激活学生原有的背景知识,教会他们怎样使已有的知识和理解课文所需要的新知识联系起来,去补充他们所缺少的图式,并在阅读过程中形成新图式,从而使阅读过程事半功倍。)

Step3 Skimming

任务设计:skim “reading” within one minutes, try to understand the general idea of the article.

(设计目的:学生通过略读,可以快速从整体上了解这篇文章的大体内容。)

Step4 Scanning

任务设计:scan “reading” within three minutes.

(设计目的: 经过略读,学生已经大概知道文章的大体内容了,再扫读一遍,抓住细节,即“what, who, when,why,where”。)Step5. Task-reading

任务设计:Read carefully, and try to answer the following questions
