1、made of. 由…制(构)成 后接构成某物质的原料 【例句】This skirt is made of silk.这件裙子是用丝绸制成的
【横向辐射】be made of/ from /up of的区别
① be made of 表示制成成品后,仍可看出原材料是什么 保留原材料的质和形状,制作过程仅发生物理变化。
【例句】:The kite is made of paper.风筝是用纸做的。
② be made from 表示制成品完全失去了原材料的外形或特征,或制作过程中发生化学变化,在成品中已无法辨认。
【例句】The paper is made from wood.纸是木头做的 Butter is made from milk.黄油是从牛奶中提炼出来的
③ be made up of 用…构成或组成的。指人、物皆可,指结构成分
【例句】Our class is made up of six groups. 我们班是由六个小组组成的。
④ be made in +地点 意为“在……(地方)制成”;
⑤ be made by 意为“被(某人)……制成【课堂变式】

II.学习目标:
1.英语有两种语态:主动语态和被动语态。主动语态:表示主语是动作的执行者。(即:主语与谓语是主谓关系),被动语态:表示主语是动作的承受着。((即:主语与谓语是动宾关系) 。被动语态的谓语构成:be+动词的过去分词(p.p)本单元重点学习一般现在时态的被动语态。
eg:Many people speak English in China. →English is spoken (by many
people) in China. 主动变被动的方法:宾变主,谓语变为be done形 ,主语变成by后宾(可以省略),主被时态要一致,人称与数同主语。
2. be made of “由…制成”, 一般指能够看出原材料
This chair is made of bamboo. 这个椅子是用竹子做成的。
3.be made from“由…制成”,一般指看不出原材料
Bread is made from corn.面包是小麦做的。
4.be made in 在…制造/生产This printing machine was made in
Beijing.这台印刷机是北京生产的。
5. be made into 被制成为…
This piece of wood will be made into a small bench.
这块木头将要被制成一个小凳。

1.设计简述:(简要说明设计的指导思想、理论依据和特色.)
本节课教学内容和教学目标及教学重难点的设定都是以英语《课程标准》为准则,从学生的已有知识水平出发,并以交际法语言教学为理论依据。语言学习的过程是一种发现语言规则并创造性地活用这些规则的过程,任何人类语言的交际活动都离不开一定的语言环境。我认为成功的外语课堂教学,应在课内创造更多真实的生活情景,让学生有机会运用自己学到的语言材料”。因此,运用交际法进行英语教学,首先要努力创设真实自然的社会语言情景。不仅要借助手势、动作、表情、实物、图片等手段为学生创设贴近教材内容的直观情景,而且要用语言的声调、节奏、情感等描述创设言语情景。在本堂课的设计中也是充分体现了这点。在教学be made of短语时,我拿着一条围巾与学生进行对话:
Teacher:What’s this in English?
Student:It’s a scarf.
T: Yes,It’s made of silk.
Do you know what be made of means in Chinese?
For example, The desk is made of wood.
S: Be made of means由某物制成的 in Chinese.
这样我通过交际语言教学和实物教学启发学生在特定的语境下猜出了 be
made of 的中文意义。
