高中英语必修二的第二模块《No Drugs》,是关于毒 品和抽烟的话题,这一话题离学生的生活很远,又离他们的生活很近,有的学生已经学会了抽烟,所以让他们远离吸烟,远离毒品。本模块是两篇文章,结构不太清晰,导致学生思路不清。本模块中的单词又比较难,学生背单词感到很吃力。
我根据上一轮的教学经验,钻研教材,潜心解读文本,仔细分析,后来发现学生把文章以话剧的形式表演一下,这样既熟练了单词,也背会了文章,也就完成了本课的教学目标,效果怎样?我担心孩子们不熟悉新单词,看不懂文章,又担心他们根据文章内容编排不出来,又害怕他们羞于上台表演。带着一种焦虑的心情走进了教室。
“today we are going to learn module2 , I’ll give you five minutes to read it. During reading
please find out which parts are belong to the aticle1 and which parts are belongs to the aticle2.”
学生很着急,默默地读。五分钟后大部分学生都给出了正确答案,但是觉得还是没看懂。
“I’ll give you a pictures of this passage, help you to understand this passage.”
学生很兴奋,目不转睛地看着这幅图。(文章的故事情节)
“Can you act it out? And do it in groups, reorganize the passage by yourself.”
Module2 No Drugs Reading and Vocabulary
Analysis of teaching content : To learn to express smoking, taking drugs and their
harm .Inspire students to form good habits and show concern for others in our society.
Analysis of the students : They are at an age where it is easy to form bad habits , for example,
smoking. Although they are poor in oral English, they can say something when they are guided in
a proper way.
Teaching Goals:
Language knowledge: Using useful expressions in this module, students can talk about
smoking and taking drugs. Furthermore, how to help others stop smoking.
Language skills: To master some new words and expressions and learn how to acquire
information. To comprehend something about smoking and taking drugs. To discuss and collect
information on the subject.
Learning strategies: To cultivate students’ ability via listening and reading. To learn how to

I.教学内容分析
本模块以No Drugs 为题,通过本模块的几篇阅读材料使学生对drugs 和smoking 有所了解,并通过对这两个问题的讨论使学生更深刻地认识到drugs 和smoking 对人体的害处,对社会的危害,以及可能引起的一些社会性问题,如burglary, shoplifting 等。从而鼓励学生远离烟和毒品,养成良好的生活习惯,关爱社会关爱他人,并通过所学知识运用恰当方式规劝他人也远离烟和毒品。
Introduction 通过对抽烟数据的检测,让学生了解吸烟的危害,并通过英英释义的方式进一步熟悉词汇,最后利用三个问题的讨论来引出另一个话题:drug use。
Reading and Vocabulary 阅读部分是打乱顺序的两篇不同类型的文章,通过给两篇文章选标题的方式培养学生的逻辑分析能力。然后通过练习使学生掌握有关drug use的词汇,并培养学生获取准确信息的能力。
Grammar 1 是学习不定式目的状语的用法。在练习前列出to 的几种不同用法来引出to可作目的状语。接着又引出了其它可作目的状语的短语:in order to, so as (not) to。
Function 这一部分先展现例句引出要学的短语,然后通过练习来巩固所学内容。
Listening and Vocabulary 是关于drug users 的一些信息。在听之前通过问答的方法先巩固词汇,然后采用问答和完成句子的形式对所听的内容进行检测,培养学生获取信息并再现的能力。
Grammar 2 通过不同类型的例句引出引导结果状语从句的词:so 与such以及对so与such区别的讨论,然后通过练习来巩固其用法。
Pronunciation 学会在日常交际中表达语气和情感。
Speaking 通过回答问题的方式,继续展开对smoking这个话题的讨论。
