课堂设计指导思想:
本堂课是阅读课的第二课时。本课旨在巩固学生从文章中获取的主要信息和对语篇的整体理解。在此基础上,操练文章中的主要语言点。形式多样的语言点操练过程既是学生学习语言知识的过程,更是训练学生听说读写技能的过程。本课语言点操练的重点是习惯用语和固定搭配,主要以听说的方式,在句子层面让学生当堂操练语言点,为综合运用英语打下基础。
Teaching aims:
1. To get to grasp the usage of the main language items.
2. To train listening, speaking, reading and writing skills by practicing the
language items.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Revision
Ask students to fill in the blanks with the first letters given. The short passage
is a summary of the reading text which is closely related to advertisements.
【设计说明】让学生根据所给首字母填空完成短文,可复习巩固上一课时对文章的理解, 并自然导入本课。
Step 2 Language focus
List the main language items in the reading text and draw students’ attention to
them.
【设计说明】列出主要语言点,让学生清楚了解本堂语言操练课的重点所在。
Step 3 Explanation and practice
Explain the main usage of the listed language items and use different ways, such
as sentence translation, multiple choices to help students to practice.
【设计说明】精讲所列出的主要语言点,通过句子翻译,选择填空等方式帮助学生操练这些语言点,以达到逐步掌握其用法,并灵活运用的目的。
Step 4 Consolidation 1
Let students choose the right words and expressions to fill in the blanks with their
proper forms.
【设计说明】这一练习形式可帮助学生在一定的语境中巩固记忆文章中的短语和习惯用法,并有助于培养语感,有助于写作能力的提高。
Step 5 Consolidation 2
Ask students to search their memory for the words and expressions learnt in this
section and complete the sentences. 2 【设计说明】再次巩固语言要点,为综合运用铺设道路。
Step 6 Homework
Let students finish A1 and A2 on Page 90, and write a short passage with the phrases
we learnt in this lesson.
【设计说明】通过书后练习进一步巩固本课语言要点。书面表达练习要求学生灵活运用所学语言点,有利于提高他们的写作能力和综合运用能力。
