Step 3 Practice
First give the students an example: ask a student some questions about her or his clothes: T: How much is your sweater? S: It’s…… T: How much are your shoes? S: They are…… Then let the students ask and answer in pairs. Give help when necessary. At last ask some pairs to act out their conversations.
Step 4 Listening practice
Listen to the tape and do 1b、2a and 2b.

Step 5 Game
Show a picture with some clothes and their prices. Let students have a quick look. Then cover the prices, let the students guess the price by using “ How much is…? It’s … How much are…? They are …” The students who first guesses the right price will win the game. Give her or him a small gift.
