一、单元学习主题
本课主题属于“人与社会”主题范畴中“社会服务与人际沟通”这一主题群,涉及子主题“良好的人际关系与人际交往”。
二、单元内容分析
本单元分为Section A与Section B两部分,主要围绕话题“Decision making”展开听、说、读、写、看等语言活动。
本单元共有两个主要语篇,第一个语篇是对话的形式,讲述了Jeff和Ben如何为聚会做准备;第二个语篇通过讲述Laura的故事,探讨青少年如何解决生活中的问题,并给出了相关专家的建议。
两个语篇不仅为我们传递了不同的语言知识和语篇知识,也传递了“文明交际,正确认识生活的烦恼并合理表达自己的观点”的育人价值。

Unit 10 If you go to the party,you'll have a greattime!本单元以“If you go to the party,you'll have a great time!”为话题,通过“Talk about consequences”来学习if引导的条件状语从句,掌握用be going to 表示将来的时态,正确使用情态动词should。
从学生熟悉的party 出发到对未来职业选择的探讨,鼓励学生作出自己的决定,并对这一决定所带来的结果进行讨论和评判。
该话题贴近学生生活,鼓励学生对未来的生活展开丰富的想象。
其中,对于生活中重要内容的探讨和为慈善活动寻找新点子设计海报等不失为德育教育的好素材。
