Machined from 316LSS bar with a thick cross-section, the adapter adds strength to the valve body and provides alignment for the stem. The outer perimeter seals to the valve body with an O-ring that is located forward to the product zone to minimize crevices. The product stem passes through the adapter and is sealed to the adapter with an O-ring. A TFM split bearing guides the stem and takes up the mechanical loading imparted by hydraulic forces. This increases the service life of the stem seal. Adapters are made in 1"-6"(25mm -152mm) sizes. The pressure limitation of the W60 adapter is the sealing capability of the dynamic O-ring on the product stem. This variation of the W60 adapter uses a backing ring added on the atmospheric side to support the stem O-ring. This significantly boosts the pressure rating on the stem O-ring. The product stem passes through the adapter and is sealed to the adapter with an O-ring and is guided by a TFM split bearing. This adapter is used to convert a ‘standard’ W60 series valve to a W80. The outer perimeter seals to the valve body with an O-ring that is located forward to the product zone to minimize crevices. The product stem passes through the adapter and is sealed in the upper part and the lower part of the adapter with O-rings. The space between the O-rings is flushed with a suitable liquid or steam. The TFM split bearing is located in the flushed chamber. Adapters are made in 1"-6" (25mm - 152mm) sizes. For vacuum-rated, extended shelf-life (ESL) applications, the W80A adapter adds steam trace to the adapter-to-valve body connection. For high-risk and hard to clean product applications, the wiping stem seal fills the gap between the product zone and the traditional O-ring stem seal. The adapter is a two-piece design to allow easy inspection or replacement of the wiping stem seal. The outer perimeter seals to the valve body with an O-ring that is located forward to the product zone to minimize crevices. A TFM split bearing is used to guide and support the valve stem.27SPX FLOW, Inc. reserves the right to incorporate our latest design and material changes without notice or obligation.Design features, materials of construction, dimensional data and certifications as described in this bulletin, are provided for your information only and should not be relied upon unless confirmed in writing. Trigonox® EHP-W60 can be used in combination with other peroxides such as 1,1,3,3-Tetramethylbutyl peroxyneodecanoate (Trigonox® 423), Cumyl peroxyneodecanoate (Trigonox® 99) or Dilauroyl peroxide (Laurox) to increase reactor efficiency. Reasons to use a water based peroxide emulsion instead of a solvent based peroxide are the following: enhanced safety, easy to use (pumpable) in 'closed reactor technology', easy to dilute with water.Half-life dataThe reactivity of an organic peroxide is usually given by its half-life (t1/2) at various temperatures. The half-life ofTrigonox® EHP-W60 in chlorobenzene is:0.1 hr83°C1 hr64°C10 hr47°CFormula 1kd = A·e-Ea/RTFormula 2t½ = (ln2)/kdEa122.45 kJ/moleA 1.83E+15 s-1R8.3142 J/mole·KT(273.15+°C) KThermal stabilityOrganic peroxides are thermally unstable substances, which may undergo self-accelerating decomposition. The lowest temperature at which self-accelerating decomposition of a substance in the original packaging may occur is the Self-Accelerating Decomposition Temperature (SADT). The SADT is determined on the basis of the Heat Accumulation Storage Test.SADT5°C (0°C for IBC)Emergency temperature (Tₑ)-5°C (-10°C for IBC)Control temperature (Tc)-15°C (-20°C for IBC)Method The Heat Accumulation Storage Test is a recognized test method for thedetermination of the SADT of organic peroxides (see Recommendations on theTransport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria - United Nations, NewYork and Geneva).StorageDue to the relatively unstable nature of organic peroxides a loss of quality can be detected over a period of time. To minimize the loss of quality, Nouryon recommends a maximum storage temperature (Ts max.) for each organic peroxide product.Ts Max.-15°C (-20°C for IBC)Ts Min.-25°CNote When stored under these recommended storage conditions, Trigonox® EHP-W60will remain within the Nouryon specifications for a period of at least three monthsafter delivery.Packaging and transportThe standard packaging is a 30-liter HDPE can (Nourytainer®) for 25 kg peroxide emulsion. Proportional pressure relief cartridge withi ntegrated electronics◆pilot operated◆Q max = 100 l/min◆p max = 400 bar◆p N max = 350 bar M22 x 1,5ISO 7789DESCRIPTIONPilot operated proportional pressure relief valve with integrated electronics as screw-in cartridge for cavity according to ISO 7789. When the operating pressure adjusted by means of the pro-portional solenoid is reached, the valve opens and connects the protected line with the drain to the tank. The back pressure in T (2) affects the pressure in P (1). This proportional valve is very sensitively adjustable and suitable for high pressures. The Plug & Play valves are factory set and adjusted and have therefore a high valve-to-valve reproducibility. The control takes place via an analogue interface or a fieldbus interface (CANopen, J1939 or Profibus DP). The parameterisation takes place by means of the free of cost parameterisation and diagnostics software «PASO» or via fieldbus interface. The USB parameterisation interface is accessible through a screw plug. As an option, these valves are available with integrated controller. As feedback value genera-tors sensors with voltage or current output can be connected d irectly. The available controller structures are optimised for a pplications with hydraulic actuations. APPLICATIONProportional pressure relief valves with integrated electronics are perfectly suitable for demanding applications in which the pressure frequently has to be changed. They are used in applications where high valve-to-valve reproducibility, easy installation, comfortable operation and high precision are very important. The integrated controller reliefs the machine control and operates the pressure control in a closed loop circuit. The applications are in the industri-al as well as in the mobile hydraulics for the smooth control of h ydraulic actuations. The screw-in cartridge is perfectly suitable for installation in control blocks and is installed in sandwich- (vertical stacked systems) and in flange plates (corresponding data sheets in this register). For machining the cartridge cavity in steel and aluminum blocks, cavity tools are available (hire or purchase). Please refer to the data sheets in register 2.13.Note!…PASO” is a Windows programm in the flow diagram style, which enables the intuitive adjustment and storingof all variable parameters. The data remain saved incase of a power failure and can also be reproduced andtransferred to other DSV.SYMBOLELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONSNote!Exact electrical specifications and detailed description of «DSV» electronics can be found on data sheet1.13-76.ACTUATION MANUAL OVERRIDE HB4,5 as standardTYPE CODEB V P PM22 - - / M E - HB4,5 #Pressure relief valve Pilot operated ProportionalScrew-in cartridge M22 x 1,5Nominal pressure range p N 20 bar 20 200 bar 200 63 bar 63 275 bar 275100 bar 100 350 bar 350160 bar 160Nominal voltage U N12 VDC G12 24 VDCG24Slip-on coilMetal housing square Connection executionIntegrated electronicsHardware configurationAnalog command value signal 12 pole A17 poleD1 (0 … 10 V preset)Analog command value signal 12 pole A4 7 pole D4 (4 … 20 mA preset)CANopen according to DSP-408C1Profibus DP according to Fluid Power Technology P1CAN J1939 (on request)J1Function AmplifierController with current feedback value signal (0…20 mA / 4… 20 mA) R1Controller with voltage feedback value signal (0…10 V) R2Sealing material NBRFKM (Viton)D1Manual overrideDesign index (subject to change)2.3-537GENERAL SPECIFICATIONSHYDRAULIC SPECIFICATIONSELECTRICAL CONNECTIONNote! The mating connector is not included in the deliveryPERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONSOil viscosity u = 30 mm 2/sFACTORY SETTINGSDither set for optimum hysteresis● = Deadband: solenoid switched off at command value signal < 5 %■ = Limited pressure in port P (1) at 70 % command value signalHYDRAULIC CONNECTIONCavity drawing according to ISO 7789–22–02–0–98Note!For detailed cavity drawing and cavity tools see data sheet 2.13-1003PARTS LISTDIMENSIONSWith analog interface, 7 pole connectorAmplifier and controllerWith fieldbus interface ControllerWith analog interface, 12 pole connector Amplifier and controller With fieldbus interface AmplifierACCESSORIESAttention!Auxiliary conditions for the cable:– External diameter 12 pol: 3,5…14,7 mm – External diameter 7 pol: 8…10 mm – Wire cross section max. 1 mm 2– Recommended wire cross section:0…25 m = 0,75 mm 2 (AWG18)25…50 m = 1 mm 2 (AWG17)SURFACE TREATMENT◆The cartridge body and the solenoid are zinc-nickel coated ◆The electronics housing is made of aluminium.SEALING MATERIALNBR or FKM (Viton) as standard, choice in the type codeSTANDARDSINSTALLATION NOTESCOMMISSIONINGFor DSV amplifiers as a rule no parameter adjustments by the cusot-mer are required.
