It was a sensory overload, but in the best way possible.One of the first places I visited in Beijing was the iconic Forbidden City. This sprawling complex is home to the former Chinese emperors and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As I walked through the ornate gates and grand courtyards, I could almost imagine what life was like for the emperors who once ruled here. The architecture was stunning, with intricate carvings and vibrant colors at every turn.Next, I visited the Great Wall of China, another must-see attraction in Beijing. The Great Wall stretches for over 13,000 miles, and I was in awe of its sheer size and grandeur.
