如:a. Judge not, that ye be not judged.
b. Many are called but few are chosen.
c. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
原文为:take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
I love reading books for many reasons. Firstly, reading books allows me to escape from reality and enter adifferent world. I can immerse myself in the characters and their lives, forgetting about my own problems for a while. Secondly, reading books is a great way to learn new things. Whether it's a novel or a non-fiction book, there is always something to be gained from reading. I have learned about different cultures, historical events, and even scientific discoveries through the books I've read. Lastly, reading books is a form of relaxation for me. It's a way to unwind after a long day and de-stress.One of my favorite books is "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. This book taught me about the injustices of racism and the importance of standing up for what is right. It also has memorable characters that I still think about to this day. Another book that I love is "The Alchemist" byPaulo Coelho. This book taught me about following my dreams and the journey that comes with it. It's a book that I can read over and over again and still gain something new from it.

English: Reading classic physical books is important for several reasons. Firstly, it allows readers to engage with the text on a deeper level, as they can physically interact with the book by turning the pages, underlining important passages, and making notes in the margins. This tactile experience can enhance comprehension and retention of the material. Secondly, reading physical books provides a break from screens and technology, which can be beneficial for reducing eye strain and improving overall well-being. Additionally, classic books often contain timeless themes, rich language, and valuable insights that can help broaden one's perspective and understanding of the world. By reading classic physical books, individuals can connect with literary history and gain a sense of cultural heritage and tradition.
I love reading books, and I have a wide range of interests when it comes to genres. However, there are a few types of books that I particularly enjoy reading.Firstly, I love reading autobiographies and memoirs. I find it fascinating to learn about someone else's life and experiences, especially if they have overcome challenges or achieved great things. One of my favorite autobiographies is "Becoming" by Michelle Obama. I was inspired by her journey from a working-class family to becoming the first African American First Lady of the United States.Secondly, I enjoy reading historical fiction. I love how these books can transport me to a different time and place, while still being grounded in reality. One of my favorite historical fiction novels is "The Nightingale" by Kristin Hannah. It tells the story of two sisters living inNazi-occupied France during World War II and their struggles to survive and resist.Lastly, I also enjoy reading self-improvement and personal development books. These books provide practical advice and strategies for improving various aspects of my life, such as productivity, relationships, and mental health. One of my favorite self-improvement books is "Atomic Habits" by James Clear. It teaches readers how to build good habits and break bad ones, and has helped me become more disciplined and focused in my daily life.
breakfast
doubting Thomas
writing on the wall
writing on the wall
the apple of one’s eye
Keep me as the apple of t he eye……
joy may end in grief. 乐极生悲;
eat sour grapes. 吃酸葡萄(酸葡萄心态);
in an twinkling of an eye. 转眼之间;
fight the good fight
