2. that/if/whether引导的宾语从句
①宾语从句是用一个句子作宾语的从句,通常由连接词来引导,如that,if/whether。
②that引导的宾语从句是由陈述句变化而来;表示陈述一件事情, 其中的that无具体意义,常可以省略。
③whether和if引导宾语从句是由一般疑问句变化而来,意为“是否”,通常可以互换,表示疑问不确定之意。
④宾语从句有三个要素,即:关联词、时态和陈述语序。
时态:
a. 主句为一般现在时,从句时态根据具体情况而定。
e.g. He tells me that his sister will come back tomorrow.
b. 主句为一般过去时,从句用相应的过去时态。
e.g. He said that he could finish his work before supper.
c. 当宾语从句表示客观事实或真理时,其时态用一般现在时,不受主句时态限制。
e.g. The teacher said that the earth goes round the sun.
语序: 用陈述语序,即助动莫放主语前。
