The need for the Statement of Cash Flows

If a business does not pay its bills as they fall due, it will lose the goodwill of its suppliers/workforce and it may be forced into liquidation. Making profits is not sufficient in itself, a business MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN THE CASH IN ORDER TO MEET THE DEMAND FOR PAYMENTS
