Unit 4 I have a pen pal?一、教材分析本单元的课题是:I have a pen pal ,本单元主要学习有关业余爱好的英语表达和一般现在时的简单用法,主要句型是:What’s your hobby? I like… He/She likes… Does he live in the city? Yes, he does. No, he doesn't. 本单元的大部分动词在前几册已经出现过,因此在教学中应注意激活学生的记忆,以旧引新,引导学生熟练掌握。
另外,A部分的Let's read的两封e-mail篇幅较长,有一定难度,阅读教学可以分段进行。
二、教学目标◆知识与技能:1.能够询问和简单描述业余爱好,如:What’s your hobby? I like collecting stamps. He likes collecting stamps, too.2.能够用一般疑问句形式询问他人的住处,工作等情况并作答,如:Does he live in the city? Yes, he does. Does he teach English? No, he doesn’t. He teaches art.3.能够听懂、会唱歌曲“My pen pal”。
4.能够认读Pronunciation部分的音标:/з:/, /э/, /∫/, /З/, /l/, /r/并能读出例词。
5.能够理解Let’s chant部分的内容。
6.能够了解Story time, Good to know, Task time等部分的内容。
◆过程与方法:通过听说读写,排演情景剧等游戏活动,让每一个学生在感知、实践、参与、合作中实现任务的目标,体验成功的喜悦。

接下来我将从以下六个方面说课。
一、说教材。
(一)教学内容:本单元以Around Our City为话题,要求学生学会有关交通工具和公共场所的单词。
表达如何乘坐交通工具和描述公共场所的具体位置。
本课是第一课时,其任务是导入新的语言,是整个单元的基础。
(二)教学目标:基于对学生核心素养的培养。
我将教学目标确定为以下四个方面:语言能力目标、学习能力目标、思维品质目标和文化意识目标语言能力目标1、语言能力目标①能听、说、认读短语:by taxi/bus/bike/car/ship/train/, on foot…②能听懂,会说句型:How do we go there? By bike...2.学习能力目标①通过唱、听、说、演等多种活动提升对语音的表达能力,同时在有趣的活动中保持对英语学习的兴趣。
②运用自然拼读法学习新单词的发音。
③培养合作学习能力,共同完成同桌对话,小组合作交流以及角色扮演。
3、思维品质目标在小组活动中,我们鼓励学生提出新观点、新设想,大胆地创新。
学生也可以相互评价,合理质疑。
4.文化意识依据本课的语言情境,要求学生了解中外文化,特别是旅游地的文化背景和经济、交通等知识,并制定合理的交通出行方式。
通过学科融合培养学生的跨文化意识。
(三)教学重点和难点这是本课的教学重难点1.单词by, taxi的发音。

2学情分析
本堂课以六年级学生为教学对象,五年级的孩子已经有两年的英语学习经历,大多数学生有
了一定的英语基础。
本年段大部分学生性格开朗,学习兴趣浓厚,乐于参加各项英语活动。
所以本课主要采用游戏对话的教学理念,通过游戏进行对话教学,让学生在游戏中对话交流,在对话中展开游戏。
以游戏的形式激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生勇于实践的精神。
3重点难点
教学重点:
1. 六种主要交通方式的短语:
by plane, by train, by boat, by bus, by bike, on foot。
2.情景对话:
——How are you going to…?或How are you going there?
——I’m going there by/on…
教学难点:
学生在实际情景中综合运用英语的能力。
