Unit 8Is there a post office near here?Grammar Focus课前预习北方的语法解析There be句型1.There be句型又叫“存在句型”,其句型结构为:There be+主语+其他。
句中主语通常放于be动词后,若主语是单数名词或不可数名词,用There is;若主语是复数名词,用There are。
e.g.There is some water in the bottle.瓶子里有一些水。
There are many students in our school.我们学校有许多学生。
2.当主语是几个并列名词时,要根据离be动词最近的一个名词来确定be动词的单复数,即遵循“就近原则”。
e.g.There is a book and two pens on the desk.桌上有一本书和两支钢笔。
3.There be的否定式是在be后加not。
e.g.There aren't any books in the backpack.背包里没有书。
4.There be句型的一般疑问句形式是将be放于句首,句末用问号,肯定回答用Yes,there is/are;否定回答用No,there is/are not。
e.g.—Is there a hospital near here?在这附近有医院吗?—Yes,there is./No,there isn't.是的,有。
/不,没有。
5.There be句型与has/have的区别:There be句型表示客观上的存在,即“某处有某人/物”;而has/have表示所有关系,即“某人有某物”。
注意不要把两种形式混用或者合用。
e.g.She has four books.她有四本书。
There are some notebooks on my desk.在我的桌子上有些笔记本。
6.There be sb./sth.doing sth.表示“有某人或某物正在做某事”,这种句型一般对进行时态进行强调。

知识链接:1.there be句型(1)There be+ 某人/某物+ 某地. 意为‘某地有某物’。
be后面紧跟的名词若是单数或是不可数名词,be用is形式;若是复数形式,be用are形式。
There is a supermarket on Green Street.There is lots of water in this lake.There are many books in the school library.(2)当there be 后面有两个以上的名词时,be的形式由离它最近的那个名词的数的形式决定,即符合就近原则。
