The ME-90 is the most advanced ME model to date, offering exceptional audio quality with 24-bit AD/DA and 32-bit floating point processing, flagship-grade AIRD amp models, IR loading, an effects loop, and more. Compact, battery-powered, and filled with premium BOSS tones, this all-in-one processor makes it simple to build customized sound setups for every playing situation. With its intuitive interface and diverse effects selection, the ME-90 allows guitarists to create configurations and tweak tones with the ease of a stompbox-filled pedalboard. The panel includes 30 different knobs for selecting categories and dialing in sounds instantly. There are 36 preset patches with ready-to-play pro tones, plus 36 user patches for storing personalized setups. The ME-90 features a massive library of BOSS effects, offering seven different categories filled with selections derived from the flagship GT-1000. There are 60 effect types in total, with access to over 20 more via BOSS Tone Studio. A send/return loop is available for external pedals, complete with the ability to save the on/off status in patches and place the loop before or after amp models in the signal chain.Along with its effects, the ME-90 includes amp models ported from the GT-1000, driven by advanced AIRD technology for authentic tube tone and touch response. Eleven onboard amp types offer everything from clean combo tones to punishing high-gain stacks, and more selections are available in BOSS Tone Studio. Each amp includes a dedicated cab sound for connecting to a PA or recording device, and it’s also possible to load three user speaker IRs with a dedicated software app.The ME-90 features eight footswitches with smooth, quiet operation and an expression pedal with an integrated toe switch. Memory mode allows the player to call up complete patch setups with the footswitches, while Manual mode provides direct on/off control of each effect category within the patch. The footswitch LEDs light in different colors for quick identification in the heat of a performance. There’s also an option to set all LEDs to light in fixed colors for each mode if desired.BOSS Tone Studio for macOS and Windows allows users to organize patches, edit tones, and change out some amp and effect types with alternate selections. It’s also possible to download pro setups at BOSS Tone Central and swap patches with the ME-90 community on BOSS Tone Exchange. The ME-90 supports the optional Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor, enablingusers to stream music from a mobile device and wirelessly shape tones using the dedicated BTS editor app for iOS and Android. The ME-90 is lighter than its previous generation model while maintaining the rock-solid durability that BOSS is famous for. The expression pedal has been newly redesigned as well for even finer parameter control. The processor can be powered with four AA batteries or an optional AC adaptor, and a rear-panel switch optimizes the outputs for use with a guitar amp or a full-range sound system such as a PA. And along with BOSS Tone Studio communication, the USB-C output provides audio interface functionality for working with music production software on a computer.Availability & PricingThe BOSS ME-90 is available in the U.S. now for $349.99. Help your horse recover from abscesses, hoof injuries, founder, navicular disease, punctures and sole bruises. The sole shape is slightly longer than wide: this is an important feature that will allow more horses to wear the boots comfortably and securely. Sizing the Easyboot Trail for your Horse»Always take hoof measurements as soon as possible after a fresh trim.»Simply follow the steps on the back of this guide to select the correct size. Please feel free to contact our staff for assistance. Sizing is imperative to a good fit.»Easyboot Trail Hoof Boots are available in 13 sizes (0-12) with each size increasing by 3/16 inch (5 mm) in width and length. Important: Easyboot Trail boot sizes are not comparable to steel shoes sizes.»The unique design features of Easyboot Trail allows for width and length adjustment and it is therefore generally suitable for both wide and narrow hooves. Easyboot Trail sizing allows for natural hoof growth between trimming.»If you intend to use Easyboot Trail boots over metal shoes* take your hoof measurements after the horse is newly shod.»Correct size selection and proper fitting are very important and will ensure maximum performance from Easyboot Trail hoof boots.*Using our hoof boots over metal shoes voids the EasyCare Guarantee.Fitting the Easyboot Trail on Your Horse1. Fully open the Cordura ® cover ensuring that no hook and loop areasare touching and that the cover is pulled completely forward.2. Facing the rear of your horse, pick up the hoof and slip it into the bootTOE FIRST. Place the sole of the hoof firmly down into the sole of theEasyboot Trail – pulling the heel of the boot over the heel bulb. Placethe hoof on the ground to a weight-bearing position.3. Starting at the front, push both side flaps against the hoof wall in adownward direction. Close the cover at the rear by pulling both endsfirmly around the heel, overlapping the double hook and loop systemflaps evenly, then attaching the hook and loop strap back on itself andusing the rubber keeper to keep the strap in place. You should be ableto fit a finger between the collar of the boot and the hair line. Pleasemake sure the metal loop is on the inside of each hoof.4. The Easyboot Trail is now securely in place. Confirm that the middle ofthe four rivets on the front of the boot are aligned through the centerline of the hoof and pastern bone.© 2018 EasyCare Inc.1. 2.3.4.2.3.EasyCare Inc.The Ultimate in Hoof ProtectionEasyboot Trail Fitting Tips»Easyboot Trail boots fit on both the left and the right hoof: they are notleft/right specific.»After the cover has been secured, ensure hook and loop system flap endsare overlapped in the correct position.»Working your horse in incorrectly sized Easyboot Trails can lead tochafing. Correct size selection will ensure maximum performance andhoof boot durability.»Give your horse time to adjust to wearing Easyboot Trail boots. The firsttime you fit your horse with Easyboot Trail boots, start by just walking out.Gradually increase the duration and distance of rides wearing EasybootTrail boots will ensure your equine friend becomes accustomed to thenew hoofwear. Too much too soon can lead to chafing.APPLICATION GUIDE1.After a fresh trim, measure the width of the hoof across the soleat the widest point.2. Measure the length of the hoof from the toe to the buttress line ofthe heel. The buttress line is the farthest weight bearing point of the heel where the hoof wall ends. Do not include the heel bulbs in the measurement. 3. Compare your measurement with the size chart below.4. Ideally, the length and width measurement will fit into the samesize. If the length and width measurements indicate different sizes, select the larger size. If the width and length measurements are different by more than one size, this boot style is not recommended. Be sure to check your measurements against an alternative boot in the EasyCare line--another style may accommodate your horse’shoof shape better.SizeWidth in inches Length in inches 0 3 15 /16" - 4 1/8" 4 1/8" - 4 5/16"1 4 1/8" - 4 5/16" 4 5/16" - 4 1/2"2 4 5/16" - 4 1/2" 4 1/2" - 4 3/4"3 4 1/2" - 4 3/4" 4 3/4" - 4 15/16"4 4 3/4" - 4 15/16" 4 15/16" - 5 1/8"5 4 15/16" - 5 1/8" 5 1/8" - 5 5/16"6 5 1/8" - 5 5/16" 5 5/16" - 5 1/2"7 5 5/16" - 5 1/2" 5 1/2" - 5 11/16"8 5 1/2" - 5 11/16" 5 11/16" - 5 15/16"9 5 11/16" - 5 15/16" 5 15/16" - 6 1/8"10 5 15/16" - 6 1/8" 6 1/8" - 6 5/16"11 6 1/8” - 6 1/2” 6 5/16” - 6 11/16”126 1/2” - 6 7/8”6 11/16” -7 1/8”Size Width in mm Length in mm 0100-105mm 105-110mm 1105-110mm 110-115mm 2110-115mm 115-120mm 3115-120mm 120-125mm 4120-125mm 125-130mm 5125-130mm 130-135mm 6130-135mm 135-140mm 7135-140mm 140-145mm 8140-145mm 145-150mm 9145-150mm 150-155mm 10150-155mm 155-160mm 11155-165mm 160-170mm 12165-175mm170-180mmA product of EasyCare Inc.EasyCare Guarantee800.447.8836 | All products should be used in accordance with the instructions in this application guide.

MASCHINE!MASCHINE is a groove production studio that implements the familiar working style of classi-cal groove boxes along with the advantages of a computer based system. MASCHINE is ideal for making music live, as well as in the studio. It’s the hands-on aspect of a dedicated instru-ment, the MASCHINE hardware controller, united with the advanced editing features of the MASCHINE software.Creating beats is often not very intuitive with a computer, but using the MASCHINE hardware controller to do it makes it easy and fun. You can tap in freely with the pads or use Note Re-peat to jam along. Alternatively, build your beats using the step sequencer just as in classic drum machines.Patterns can be intuitively combined and rearranged on the fly to form larger ideas. You can try out several different versions of a song without ever having to stop the music.Since you can integrate it into any sequencer that supports VST, AU, or AAX plug-ins, you can reap the benefits in almost any software setup, or use it as a stand-alone application. You can sample your own material, slice loops and rearrange them easily. However, MASCHINE is a lot more than an ordinary groovebox or sampler: it comes with an inspiring 7-gigabyte library, and a sophisticated, yet easy to use tag-based Browser to give you instant access to the sounds you are looking for. What’s more, MASCHINE provides lots of options for manipulating your sounds via internal ef-fects and other sound-shaping possibilities. You can also control external MIDI hardware and 3rd-party software with the MASCHINE hardware controller, while customizing the functions of the pads, knobs and buttons according to your needs utilizing the included Controller Editor application. We hope you enjoy this fantastic instrument as much as we do. Now let’s get go-ing!—The MASCHINE team at Native Instruments.MASCHINE Documentation1.1MASCHINE DocumentationNative Instruments provide many information sources regarding MASCHINE. The icons introducing the following notes let you see what kind of information canbe expected:Furthermore, the following formatting is used:▪Text appearing in (drop-down) menus (such as Open…, Save as… etc.) in the software andpaths to locations on your hard disk or other storage devices is printed in italics.▪Text appearing elsewhere (labels of buttons, controls, text next to checkboxes etc.) in thesoftware is printed in blue. Whenever you see this formatting applied, you will find thesame text appearing somewhere on the screen.▪Text appearing on the displays of the controller is printed in light grey. Whenever you seethis formatting applied, you will find the same text on a controller display.▪Text appearing on labels of the hardware controller is printed in orange. Whenever you seethis formatting applied, you will find the same text on the controller.▪Important names and concepts are printed in bold.▪References to keys on your computer’s keyboard you’ll find put in square brackets (e.g.,“Press [Shift] + [Enter]”).►Single instructions are introduced by this play button type arrow.→Results of actions are introduced by this smaller arrow.Naming ConventionThroughout the documentation we will refer to MASCHINE controller (or just controller) as the hardware controller and MASCHINE software as the software installed on your computer. The term “effect” will sometimes be abbreviated as “FX” when referring to elements in the MA-SCHINE software and hardware. These terms have the same meaning.Button Combinations and Shortcuts on Your ControllerMost instructions will use the “+” sign to indicate buttons (or buttons and pads) that must be pressed simultaneously, starting with the button indicated first. E.g., an instruction such as:“Press SHIFT + PLAY”means:1.Press and hold SHIFT.2.While holding SHIFT, press PLAY and release it.3.Release SHIFT.1.3New Features in MASCHINE2.8The following new features have been added to MASCHINE: Integration▪Browse on , create your own collections of loops and one-shots and send them directly to the MASCHINE browser.Improvements to the Browser▪Samples are now cataloged in separate Loops and One-shots tabs in the Browser.▪Previews of loops selected in the Browser will be played in sync with the current project. When a loop is selected with Prehear turned on, it will begin playing immediately in-sync with the project if transport is running. If a loop preview starts part-way through the loop, the loop will play once more for its full length to ensure you get to hear the entire loop once in context with your project.▪Filters and product selections will be remembered when switching between content types and Factory/User Libraries in the Browser.▪Browser content synchronization between multiple running instances. When running multi-ple instances of MASCHINE, either as Standalone and/or as a plug-in, updates to the Li-brary will be synced across the instances. For example, if you delete a sample from your User Library in one instance, the sample will no longer be present in the other instances.Similarly, if you save a preset in one instance, that preset will then be available in the oth-er instances, too.▪Edits made to samples in the Factory Libraries will be saved to the Standard User Directo-ry.For more information on these new features, refer to the following chapter ↑4, Browser. Improvements to the MASCHINE MIKRO MK3 Controller▪You can now set sample Start and End points using the controller. For more information refer to ↑17.3.1, Using the Edit Page.Improved Support for A-Series Keyboards▪When Browsing with A-Series keyboards, you can now jump quickly to the results list by holding SHIFT and pushing right on the 4D Encoder.▪When Browsing with A-Series keyboards, you can fast scroll through the Browser results list by holding SHIFT and twisting the 4D Encoder.▪Mute and Solo Sounds and Groups from A-Series keyboards. Sounds are muted in TRACK mode while Groups are muted in IDEAS.。
Endoproteinase Glu-Cfrom Staphylococcus aureus V8suitable for protein sequencing Catalog Number P6181Storage Temperature –20 °CTECHNICAL BULLETINCAS RN 66676-43-5EC 3.4.21.19Synonym: V8 ProteaseProduct DescriptionEndoproteinase Glu-C from Staphylococcus aureus strain V8 is a serine endoprotease, which hydrolyzes peptide bonds at the carboxyl side of glutamyl andaspartyl residues. The specificity of Glu-C is dependent upon the buffer and pH employed as well as thestructure around the potential cleavage site.1-7Inammonium acetate (pH 4.0) or ammonium bicarbonate (pH 7.8) the enzyme preferentially cleaves glutamyl bonds; whereas, in phosphate buffer (pH 7.8) Glu-C will cleave at either site. No cleavage will occur if a proline residue is on the carboxyl side.1The enzyme also exhibits esterase activity.1,2Endoproteinase Glu-C is suitable for proteomic work. It is widely used in proteomics for peptide mapping and protein sequence work due to this highly specific cleavage of peptides resulting in a limited number offragments.1-7Endoproteinase Glu-C has an average molecular massof 29.02 kDa.8,9The protease is active in the pH range of 3.5–9.5 and exhibits a double maximum of proteolytic activity at pH 4.0 and 7.8 with hemoglobin as thesubstrate.1,2The specificity and activity of Glu-C is retained in 20% organic solvents.10Glu-C is reported to be fully active in the presence of 0.2% SDS and retains 50% of itsactivity in 4.0 M urea.2-6A known peptide such as the oxidizedB chain of insulin should be run as a control for all experiments.Precautions and DisclaimerThis product is for R&D use only, not for drug, household, or other uses. Please consult the Material Safety Data Sheet for information regarding hazards and safe handling practices.Preparation InstructionsReconstitute the lyophilized product in water.Storage/StabilityStore the product at –20 °C. When stored at –20 °C, the product retains activity for at least one year. Frozen solutions can be thawed and frozen repeatedly without loss of activity.1ProcedureFor peptide or protein digestion, a ratio between 1:20 and 1:100 (w/w) of enzyme to substrate isrecommended. Dissolve the peptide or protein to be digested in 100 mM NH 4HCO 3, pH 7.8, or 100 mM Tris HCl,pH 7.8. Recommended incubation time is between 2–18 hours at 37 °C depending on theenzyme to substrate ratio. Endoproteinase Glu-C may also be used for in-gel digestions of proteins.11-14ResultsThe suitability of this product is demonstrated by the digestion of the oxidized B chain of insulin (Catalog Number I1764) as described in Figure 1. The sequence of the oxidized B chain of insulin is:FVNQHLC ox GSHLVEALYLVC ox GERGFFYTPKAFigure 1.Suitability Assay of Glu-CThe oxidized B chain of insulin (100 µg) was digested with 5 µg of Glu-C for 18 hours at 37 °C in 100 µl of 100 mM NH 4HCO 3, pH 7.8. A 20 µg aliquot was separated on a Discovery ®C18 column (25 cm x 4.6 mm, 5 micron, Catalog Number 504971) using a 20 minute linear gradient from 5–50% B at 0.7 ml/min and was detected in the UV at 214 nm and by mass spectrometry. Solvent A: 0.1% (v/v) TFA in water, Solvent B: 0.08% (v/v) TFA in acetonitrile. The Glu-C peptide fragments were identified as follows:Retention Time (minutes)Mass (Da)Fragment 15.091529.4Phe 1–Glu 1316.41914.3Ala 14 –Glu 2116.731086.0Arg 22 –Ala 30During the 18 hour digestion only the expected peptides were generated with no indication of other major proteolytic activity.References1.Drapeau, G.R.
