Lesson 15 Making a Difference设计思路:本课为冀教版英语七年级Book2 第三单元的第3课。
本单元的教学内容围绕学校生活介绍展开,此类话题比较容易被学生接受,他们能够主动、积极地探究学习。
课前让学生对于本课需要掌握的单词和知识点进行预习并背诵,上课时先对此部分内容进行检测,确定学生知识的记忆情况,之后利用15分钟左右的时间让学生小组合作探究本课的难点内容及课文内容探究,知识点的探究结果由学生展示到黑板上,通过找出各组展示出来的内容进行对比,找出差异并引导学生分析正确的结论。
课文探究以表格为引导,先让学生精读课文,在理解课文的基础上完成表格,再以表格为依据,进行第三人称的复述课文。
之后通过课文中主人公的经历以Free Talk的形式对学生进行情感教育。
最后对本课的内容进行达标检测。

第15课主要介绍了一个希望中学的孩子的校园生活,与前一课中加拿大学生Jenny的校园生活进行对比,本课的校园生活有很大的反差。
校园生活是学生熟悉的内容且丰富多彩,学生易于接受,为此,在学习课文内容的基础上,还应该引导学生学会珍惜当下的幸福生活,热爱学习,乐观向上。
二、学情分析根据七年级学生已有的知识储备,生活经验和认知水平,再加上他们对英语有着强烈的求知欲和好奇心,以及他们在活动中乐于自我表现的特点,本人设计了一系列的课堂教学活动,进而激发和培养学生的学习兴趣,鼓励学生大胆实践,勇于探索。
三、教学目标1)采用拼读与单词接龙的方法熟练掌握difference,village,drop,possible,never,future等词汇,并能正确运用make a difference to,drop out of school,give up 等短语。
2)采用阅读与诵读的方法完全理解课文含义,并能用课文中所学词汇介绍一个对社会或者对自己有深远影响的人。
3)通过思考与讨论体会课文寓意,懂得珍惜生活,热爱学习,乐观向上。
四、教学重点、难点1)教学重点熟练掌握difference,village,drop,possible,never,future等词汇并能正确运用make a difference to,drop out of school,give up 等短语。
2)教学难点:完全理解课文含义并能体会课文寓意。
