2. 注重目标语句的扎实训练。
教师在课文教学中首先设计了问题: Where do they want to go?How do they ask? 引导学生们回答两人想去的地点,然后说明问路时的用语,进而在板书中呈现,引导学生通过模仿Dalin和两位问路人的对话操练巩固本课的目标语句,同时在操练环节中通过警察为路人指路的任务活动(一人到前面,生生之间互动)进行目标语句的强化训练;最后在任务完成环节小小解说员活动依然是在内化重点目标语句。
3. 重视教学任务的层次性。
在课文教学中,教师呈现地图引导学生整体感知课文回答问题,进而学习本课的重点词汇,然后明确两个主要场所supermarket zoo的具体位置,然后开始描述路线,并通过卡通人物图片和地图实际走一走;接下来的小警察指路在课文学习的基础上围绕地图板书来指路和问路,比课文又提升了一个层次;最后任务完成:小小解说员环节中学生们四人一组为单位询问和回答学校周边的路线,在实际生活中运用语言知识,引导学生主动积极地参与表达,达到学以致用。

本课继续上一个单元,介绍建筑物的方位和路线指引。
该课程运用多媒体等多种手段使知识进行逐层深入,由单词到句型,由句型到口语表演,让孩子们在一种自然的环境中去体会,通过动手、动脑、动口,自然而然的学会运用,英语各项技能均有所提高。
【知识目标】
1.能听、说、读和运用单词:cousin、supermarket、well。

Step1. Warm-up
1.学习next to和in front of
老师出示一张地图,询问各个建筑物或地点之间的关系,导入这两个复合介词。
T: Where is supermarket?
S: I t’s next to library.
老师可以通过句型操练,让学生熟悉这两个句型。
2.学习taxi
老师出示出租车的图片,引入taxi。
T: What is it?
S: It’s a t axi.
老师可以趁此机会复习之前的交通工具。
然后问驾驶员用英语怎么说,自然引入taxi driver。

1.观看视频,请学生回答动画中黄熊和白熊都生活在什么地方。
T: Where does it live?
S: He lives in the zoo/next to the zoo.
2.播放录音,请学生跟读活动1。
3.请学生单独范读,老师进行纠正发音错误。
Step3. L et’s learn
1.看图说话
老师先请学生看活动2各个场景的地图和图片,请学生进行推测和编造对话。
S1: How can I go to XXX?
S: XXX.
2.听录音
播放课文录音两遍。
第一遍,请学生仔细听录音,听完之后,请几位同学回答老师提出的问题,如Where is the supermarket? How can we g o there?。
第二遍,教师请学生尽量复述出现的文章,并用自己的话说出各地点的路线。
3.跟读
播放课文录音,先让所有学生一起跟读,然后让几位同学进行角色扮演。
在过程中,老师注意纠正不对的发音。
4.画地图
请学生根据对话内容画出到超市和动物园路线的地图,看哪一位同学画得更好。
Step4. Listen and say
1.先请学生观察活动3的地图,询问学生建筑物之间的关系。

2.播放活动3录音第一遍,着重让学生熟悉语音语调。
3.播放录音第二遍,让学生根据听力的描述,记录听力描述的内容
4.播放录音第三遍,请几位学生复述内容,老师进行纠正和核对。
5.请学生画出路线,并跟着录音进行大声朗读。
Step5. Practice
1.请学生看活动4的地图,老师询问几名学生各个建筑物的位置关系,可以总结表示相对位置的介词。
2.请学生两两一组进行对话操练,老师下台巡视,回答学生提出的问题。
3.请几组学生到讲台处进行对话,请同学们纠正他们的错误。
