look out at意为"向外看……"，它由look out和look at组合而成。
其中look out意为"向外看"，look at意为"看……"。
例如：Don’t look out in class. 在课堂上不要向外看。
Please look at the new computer. 请看这台新电脑。
● I climb a ladder to get into my house. 我要爬梯子才能进入家里。
1）这里动词不定式to get into my house在句中作状语，表示目的。
例如：Mr Li often goes to the park to do exercise. 李先生经常去公园锻炼。
2） get into意为"进入"，后面须接宾语。
例如：I’ll get into the shop and buy some bread. 我要进入商店买一些面包。
● It is very beautiful and quiet here, but it rains a lot. 它（小镇）很漂亮，也很安静，但雨水多。
这里a lot意为"大量；许多"，相当于副词。
例如：My father smokes a lot. 我的父亲抽很多的烟。
另外，a lot也可意为"经常；非常"等。
例如：She likes swimming a lot. 她非常喜欢游泳。
I play tennis quite a lot in summer. 夏天我经常打网球。
● My family and I sit in the kitchen while my mother makes dinner. 妈妈做晚餐的时候，我常和家人一起坐在厨房里。
