学生姓名:胡宇 学校:武汉理工大学 教师姓名:赵淑华 分数:93.5 How to treat the classical In modern society, whether adhere to the classics or not,it has been brought into great concern. The phenomena like leaving out the compositions of Lu Xun in the textbooks show that Chinese people's concepts of classics are altering imperceptibly. In relation to classics, different people hold different attitudes. Some people believe that classics will be of incalculable value to us since they could withstand the test of time. But there is no doubt that a growing number of people maintain that we should look forward to pursuing something new and something original to suit for nowadays. We are striding towards the future which old wisdom may not suit for. So exploring the unknown world and mining the new understanding between the human and the natural is our responsibilities. As far as I am concerned, it may be true that classics are valuable which stand out from thousands of literatures, but we shouldn't ignore the fact that great changes have taken place in the ideology of people with the rapid development of science and technology. As the proverb goes," Take the essence, take its dregs." The reasons why I quiet agree with the statement that we should learn from it but not depend on it are chiefly as follows. First, those classics must have something special worthy to be studied from which we can create something new, something perpetual and something meritorious. For example, Quantum mechanics delivered by Einstein, one of the greatest thinkers of the 20th century, was on the grounds of massive discoveries found by other scientists. Second, obviously, if we want to develop and change our destiny, it is essential that we should be committed to exploring and finding development paths. In other words, only in this way can our country be stronger, more beautiful and more prosperous. It's universally acknowledged that the regime of China was established by means of the Soviet Union. But why did the Soviet Union disintegrate and China is increasingly prosperous. From my point of view, the key to this situation is that China not only learn the experience of the Soviet Union, but also adjust it accordingly to adapt to its own social development. Taking all these factors into consideration, we reasonably come to the conclusion that in regard to classics we should use them and benefit from them, but we can't rely on them.
