1 千年历史全国名茶———原古红（西山）红茶 简介 Introduction of thousand-year historical national famous tea——Ancient Sun (Xi’shan) Black Tea 历史全国名茶——原古红（西山）功夫红茶，原产边陲桂地浔州府（今广西桂平市）西山风景区龙华寺旁棋盘石一带。 The historical national famous tea - the ancient sun (Xi’shan) Kung Fu tea, was originally emerged around the Chessboard, long’hua Temple, Xi’shan mountain scenic area, Guipin city.
桂平位于广西东南部，地处北回归线。西山属南亚热带气候，年均降雨1778.5毫米，气温平均为21℃。其气候特点是：夏不热，雨秋热，冬不寒而春寒。 Located on the Tropic of Cancer, Guiping is in the southeast of Guangxi. On xi’shan mountain, the average annual rainfall is 1778.5 mm and average temperature is 21 ℃. The climate is characterized by: autumn is warmer than summer, spring is colder than winter.
西山是黔江、郁江、浔江的三江绕围汇交地，地貌状如弥勒笑佛，前有天然的木鱼岭，中有龙华寺，观音岩，洗石庵，后有天然的飞来寺，是一个天然造化的佛门圣地。桂平，因金田村的太平天国起义而闻名中外。1961年，毛泽东主席为桂平风光题词为“大藤峡”。西山是广西佛教协会所在。巨赞法师称西山风景为“揽胜”。 Xi’shan mountain is located at the interjunction of Qian’jiang River, Yu’jiang River and Xun’jiang River and the landscape shape is just like a smiling Buddha Maitreya. As there are longhua temple, kwan-yin rock, wash stone nunnery and fei’lai temple on the mountain which make it a natural Buddhist Holy Land. Guiping became famous as the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement in its Jin’tian village in Qing Dynasty. In 1961, Chairman Mao Zedong wrote an inscription for the Guiping scenery as the “Da’teng Gorge”. Guangxi Buddhism Association is located at Xi’shan. Chan Master called Xi’shan’s scenery “Resort of tolerance”.
原古红（西山）红茶，茶树之源是世界茶树原生地之一的南方浔江流域两岸，史称“西山原古群体种”。 The ancient sun (xi’shan) black tea originally grew at one of the tea growing places----banks of Xun’jiang river, so it was called “Xi’shan aborigine group specie”.
西山原古群体种是光敏性强的特异品种，随季节变化，气温的不同，茶叶出现七种颜色。微风中荡漾着优雅的荷塘花香，茶芽变为红色时，宛若池塘红莲。 2
中国书法研究院张杰院长题词为“荷韵悠长”。 西山原古群体小叶种茶树，历时一千七百多年，不但吸取晨阳、霞彩、月华、泉源、龙脉、林木、廿四江河灵息精华，而且在佛门弟子一代代的传承禅农经营，茶树鲜叶显露七种颜色，以示茶叶受僧人诵经的声缘所染故，使茶叶具有不可思议妙法尘的特异禅修和治病功效。清朝大德高僧品山大和尚称之为“千年禅修佛光彩云茶”。 A kind of strong photosensitivity specie, the tea leaves grow from Xi’shan aborigine group seed emerge 7 colors with the change of seasons. People will smell the aroma of lotus in the wind and as if see the red lotus pond when the tea sprouts get red. President Zhang Jie, Institute of Chinese calligraphy wrote an inscription as “charming lotus”. Xi’shan mountain aborigine group flocculi seed tea trees has absorbed the essences from sky, sun, moon, fountain, mountain, forest, rivers for over 1700 years since the first generation of monks planted the tea trees. Meanwhile, that Buddhists’ meditation and chanting scriptures affected the trees all day long make the tea leaves’ change 7 kinds of colors and even as if the tea becomes a kind of medicine. In Qing Dynasty, the Pin’shan master monk called it “Thousand year Buddhism cultivated colorful tea”.
西山原古群体种，始于汉末晋初，至唐时，唐御史李明远到浔州西山寺出家为僧，进行种子繁殖，培植出“西山原古群体种”。李明远力行百丈禅师“一日不作，一日不食”清规，禅农并举，把西山寺所有的众僧的禅修参透到种植茶树，护理管理茶园和制茶、沏茶茶艺上。当时，西山茶名声大振，并作为桂地的贡品，为唐朝指定贡品御用茶。清代初期，佛门众弟子为纪念高僧李明远之大德，在洗石庵旁建立了一座宏伟的“唐御史李公祠”。原古红随着西山流域的“茶船古道”远扬海内外。 Xi’shan aborigine group seed started at the end of Han Dynasty and till Tang Dynasty, Yushi (a kind of judicial officer) Li Mingyuan entered into Buddhism religion in Xi’shan Temple and cultivated “xi’shan mountain aborigine group seed”. Master Li integrated Buddhism regulation into tea planting, caring, producing and making. Then, xi’shan black tea became a king of Zen tea, which was designed as tribute for the emperor. Till Qing Dynasty, Buddhists disciples constructed a great “Li’s ancestral temple ” in order to memorize their master, Li Mingyuan beside wash stone nunnery. Since then, the ancient sun tea started to be famous as it was shipped outside of Guipin along Xi’jiang river.
原古红，是纯天然发酵的名优红茶。 Ancient sun tea is a natural fermented famous black tea. 原古红的雏形由宋朝高僧所创，现时的原古红成熟传统工艺由明初西山寺大 3
德高僧所创。 The miniature of ancient sun tea was created by a master in Song Dynasty and Da’de master developed it and made the technology mature in Ming Dynasty.
原古红，以独步天下的莲花清香而闻名。原古红的茶园地处天然生态植被林区，茶园四周有松树、沙罗树、菩提树、桂花树，使地势坐西向东的茶园朝夕受阳，午时清凉，随季节的变化，春茶飘逸荷韵花香，夏茶呈现桂花蜜香，秋茶果香花蜜重。 The ancient sun tea is famous of its exclusive aroma of lotus. The tea garden is located in the natural ecological vegetations mountain area and pine trees, bodhi trees, osmanthus trees around the garden. The sun lights the garden all day long. The tea emits aroma of lotus, osmanthus, fruit in Spring, Summer and Autumn respectively.
