Document Description:
This document describes the user requirements for a water system designed to produce
USP quality water in accordance with the current requirements. This document
includes requirements only for reverse osmosis (RO) and post RO polishing utilizing
mixed bed deionization. This document assumes that the water supplied to the RO has
been appropriately treated based on feedwater characteristics. Note that this document
describes a typical water purification regime however; there are various methods of
producing USP quality water that should also be considered.
