单元任务分析
本单元的教学主题为jobs(职业),要求学生掌握的核心词汇是职业名称:doctor, nurse, teacher, student, police officer, firefighter, cook, bus driver。
在本单元的教学中也需要学生对以下单词和短语作了解和认识:fire , fire station, fire engine, put out the fire, play with fire, call, bring, dangerous, visit a fire station princess, pretty, care about, price 等等。
本单元的重点句型是:What does your father do ? He’s a ______. What does your mother do ? She’s a ______.教材主要是通过儿歌、同学之间询问父母的职业导入教学内容。
通过卡片游戏和参观Jill 的父亲工作的地方——消防站的情景对话来巩固和拓展主题内容的。
本单元主题是职业名称以及询问职业的句型学习,为丰富学生的语言量,更好地开展对话,教师可根据本班学生的学习能力作相应的拓展。
如了解各种职业的工作地点,doctor, nurse, work in a hospital; teacher__ work in a school, student__ study in a school;cook__ work in a restaurant,…可用句型Where does a doctor work ? He works …也可结合各职业的功能作相应的语言训练,如:a doctor __ make sick people better; nurse__help make sick people better; teacher __ teach children; firefighter__ put out fires; police officer__ make our city safe; cook __ cook food for people; bus driver__ drive a bus 等等。
在教学过程中,可根据学生的情况和教材的内容进行文本的编制、再构,丰富教学内容。
单元教学目标
通过本单元的学习,学生能:
1.学会表示职业名称的单词doctor, nurse, teacher, student, police officer, firefighter, cook, bus driver并会用句型He’s a ___. She’s a ___ 介绍某人的职业。
2.正确使用句型What does your father do ? He’s a ___. What does your mother do ? She’s a ___.询问和介绍职业。
也能用一般疑问句Is he a __? Yes,.. No,…进行问答练习。
3.通过介绍家庭成员的职业,让学生了解各个职业的主要功能,以及他们工作的地方,能用简单的英语表达,并激发学生对家人的爱。
如:My mother is a teacher. She works in a school. She teaches children .She loves her students. They love her too. I love my mother. 4.通过学习参观消防站的情景会话,会进行角色的表演和情境的再编。
5.了解和感知dr- pr-在单词中的发音,并能正确发音。
教学设计思路
本单元内容大体整合为四个教学课时。
第一课时主要围绕课本P22页的小诗,解决其中的新单词,让学生在理解的基础上学会运用。
学习职业名称,以新词汇firefighter为重点,同时引入学生比较熟悉的几个职业名称,如:doctor nurse teacher student cook bus driver 等等。
可以结合He’s a __. She is a ___. 练习说话。
教学过程主要是创设情境,让学生在了解以下几个问题时展现课文内容。
如:When you see the fire, what can you do? Call the fire station. What’s the number? One, one, nine. Who will come ? Firefighter. What can they do ? Bring the fire engine. Put out the fire. How are they ? Brave.第二课时,围绕职业名称和句型What does …do ? He/She is ….学生通过问答了解家庭成员的职业。
教师可根据班上学生的接受能力做适当的拓展,如职业名称的拓展,职业功能的拓展,让课堂内容变得更丰富,如: A firefighter can put out the fire. A doctor can make sick people better…问句:What’s your job? 询问职业,也可拓展。
综合运用见文本1。
第三课时,职业的综合运用和巩固,可通过句式:What does …do ? Is he / she …? 重点内容为P25 Visiting a fire station 第四课时,通过猜测游戏,小调查等综合运用本单元的重点词、句,练习dr- pr- 的发音,诵读小诗。
