I Want to Be an Astronaut

Ever since I was a tiny kid, I've dreamed of becoming an

astronaut. I love looking up at the night sky and seeing all the

bright stars twinkling. I imagine traveling through space,

exploring strange new worlds, and experiencing things that no

human has ever seen before!

When I was in kindergarten, we had a unit on the solar

system. That's when I first learned about the planets, the sun, the

moon, and galaxies far, far away. My teacher brought in a special

guest, a real astronaut who had been to space! He showed us

videos of himself floating around with no gravity. It looked like

so much fun! From that day on, I decided I wanted to be just like

him when I grew up.

In first grade, we went on a field trip to the science museum.
