星空中依次绽放一朵朵烟花,快速读出单词或短语并说出汉意。
(设计意图:此活动锻炼了学生快速的反应力,在活动中复习与本课教学密切相关的单词,激发了学生的学习兴趣引入本课的学习话题。
)3.Serial question and answer:逐一呈现职业类的图片,学生利用给出的句型进行连环问答,找6位同学进行对话展示。

《PEP小学英语(新版)》这套教材以话题为纲,以交际功能和语言结构为主线,注重学生语言运用能力的培养,逐步引导学生运用英语完成有实际意义的语言任务。
本单元教学内容围绕“职业”这一话题而展开,这是学生感兴趣的话题之一。
本节课是第一课时,是对话课。
主要学习并运用核心句型What does ...do?以及做出恰当的回答He/She is a/an ...,这是本课学习的重点。
除了以上核心语言知识外,生词businessman 和句子He often goes to other countries.属于理解性知识,是帮助学生整体理解情境的内容,也是本课需要突破的难点之一。
二、学情分析小学六年级的学生,和低年级学生相比具有较强的自行探究的能力,思维能力处于由形象思维到逻辑思维的过渡阶段,具备一定的英语知识基础和英语学习习惯。
学生在四年级上册Unit 4时已学过职业单词teacher, doctor, nurse, farmer, cook等,在平时也积累了一些常见的职业词汇,如policeman, worker, singer, football player等,也能用He’s / She’s a ...介绍某人的职业,这些语言知识与能力基础为本课的学习奠定了良好基础,学生对新知的学习能够连贯有所承接。

三、学情分析:本课主要让学生能够简单介绍一些职业以及询问他人的工作情况,并做出相应的回答,所学内容与学生身边的人物息息相关,学生对此内容很感兴趣。
教师应该以四年级上册学过的职业类单词及句型做铺垫,在本课话题的基础上适当拓展延伸,设置能激发学生兴趣和积极性的任务,借助图片、多媒体课件等教学设备来完成教学任务。
四、教学内容分析:本节课是新版小学英语教材六年级上册Unit 5A部分的对话课,以Parents’ Day为主题,紧扣职业这一话题,在四年级上册学习了teacher、doctor、farmer等关于职业的单词以及What’s his/her job? He/She is a ….等询问他人职业句型的基础上,本单元进一步学习关于职业的单词和句型,本课是单元的第一课,教学的具体内容是“What does your father/mother do? Do you want to be a head teacher, too?”询问他人职业和未来的理想职业。
本对话课的设计我首先利用趣味说单词游戏,帮助学生头脑风暴复习家庭、爱好、职业三大类单词,以语篇导入,通过有趣的劳动工具图片吸引学生感知和理解本课的目标语言,接着利用课文插图让学生对所学文本进行预测,并通过多次猜测和试听的训练促使学生一步步地理解文本的大意、细节,逐步建构文本。
