教学目标：
1、知识目标：
①词汇：left, right, turn left, turn right, go straight.
②句型：Excuse me. Where is the……？Where are the…?
Go straight. Then turn left.
Thank you. You’re welco me.
2、能力目标：能用英文问路、指路，能准确分辨方向。

会询问自己不知道的路线，并会为别人指明路线。

3、情感目标：学习礼貌用语，文明待人。

三、教学重点：
能听懂会说Where is the…… ？Where are the……？
Go straight. Then turn left / turn right.
四、教学难点：
能准确运用句子Where is the……?与Where are the……？
五、教具准备：
1、卡片：left, right, straight, turn left, turn right, go straight.
2、多媒体
六、教学过程
Step 1、Warming up
1.Greetings
2、复习与本课有关的单词：supermarket、park、zoo、school、bookstore、panda、zebra、kangaroo、monkey、penguin。

3.Sing a song, Follow me
唱第二册的follow me，为本节的新课做准备。

用歌曲中的wave your arms。

引出right arm和left arm。

Step 2、Presentation and the new lesson
1.教学单词left, right
（1）用单词卡教学，借助手势引入left、right。

T: Show me your hands, now, wave your right hands, then, wave your left hands
（2）师呈现教学卡片，左手拿left , 右手拿right，让学生自己试着拼读。

师再教学left, right
( 3) 游戏：看谁反应快（教师说left，学生挥动左手，反之亦然）
2.教学词组：turn right、turn left
（1）由城北小学怎么到实验小学引出本课新词：go straight 、turn left 、turn right
T:Miss Shi and Miss Weng brought you from Chengbei Primary School to here.Can tell me， how to get here？ look at Bb。

（出示课件并揭示课题.）
（2）说明评价栏
分成男女生两组，以城北小学为起点，实验小学为终点进行竞赛，最先到
(3) 师出示turn left, turn right卡片并进行教学。

(4)课件播放turn left, turn right, 各一遍，学生跟读go straight.两遍后，师出示卡片教go straight。

(5 )竞赛：看谁更有方向感
（6）游戏：寻宝游戏。

3.课文教学。

(1) 教学新课（设置情境PPT）学习本课句型：
Excus e me. Where is the……？
Go straight. Then turn left. You’ll see it.
(2) 阅读课文，找出不理解的地方，解释句子“You’ll see it.”“Excuse me .”
(3) 跟读课文两遍。

(4) 分角色朗读对话。

(PPT展示平潭圆盘和翠园、超市、学校的方位图，用本课所学句型操练)
Step4.Consolidation
1.课件显示动物画面。

复习动物的单词，引出 Where are the ...s？做P43 Ask and answer练习
2.拓展：小组讨论：课件：Where are the...？
3.Sing a song: Follow me
4.Sum up.
5.T：Now，We are going to go back Chengbei Primary School（出示课件）
Step 4.Homewok
1.听录音Lesson 9，熟读课文
2.完成《活动手册》Lesson 9.
3.抄写本课词组turn left, turn right, go straight.各八遍
4、画出学校到家里的路线图，欢迎同学们到家里做客。

5、预习：听Lesson10录音5遍。

教学步骤：教师活动，学生活动，设计意图教学过程：Step1热身运动1. Say a chant. “Tick,Tock.”2．Free talk.T: What’s the time?T: When do you get up? …3. Sing a song. “It’s time to clean up.”1.Say the chant together with actions.2. Respond it3.Sing toghter.本课开始时，营造讲英语的语境，设法让学生进入学英语状态。

另外利用歌曲来复习与本课教学内容相关的句型,既调节情绪，又为新课教学作铺垫。
