Lesson 1: What’s Wrong, Danny?一、概述本课是冀教版第五册第一单元的第一课。
本单元的话题是保持健康。
本课是一个长篇对话,讲的是Danny晚饭后甜点吃了10个面包圈,导致胃疼,凌晨三点钟叫醒父母,父亲迅速穿衣带他去医院看医生的故事,对话分两个场景——家里和医院,通过本课学习使学生掌握看医生的用语。
九年级的学生具有一定的英语学习基础,对英语有较强的兴趣,有较好的语言交际技能,思维活跃,有表现欲。
他们在七八年级时就已经学了一些就医用语,如:What’s wrong with you? I have a headache. My stomach hurts.等,再学本课应该比较容易。
我讲课时运用了网上的教学资源和教参附带的教学光盘,先用一首flash歌曲热身,活跃课堂气氛,复习身体部位,顺着歌里的那个Poor boy讨论Think About It中的When you don’t feel well, what do you usually do?。
接着设计了一个非常简单的听力问题What’s wrong with Danny?让学生由易入手进入本课学习,然后快速读课文,找出问题答案,了解对话大意,再利用PPT教授生词和短语。
通过观看一段光盘中的视频,激发学生的兴趣,再进行对话角色扮演,归纳总结就医用语,然后利用PPT图片提供的情境编对话,对本课所学语言进行活用、提升,最后再做一篇听力练习,让学生张弛有度,轻松完成本课学习任务。
