《 Unit 1 Women of achievement 》教案新盈中学王世强2012-4-13一、教学目标设计1. 知识目标:① 学生通过阅读Jane Goodall与她的同事们在非洲原始森林观察黑猩猩的一个片断,了解她在动物保护方面所付出的艰辛和所取得的成就。
②使学生了解黑猩猩的生活习性以及与人类的相似之处,获取保护野生动物的知识。
2. 能力目标:①学生学会快速阅读的方法、培养筛选局部和整体信息的能力及独立阅读的能力和合作学习的能力;训练阅读技巧,同时加强听,说,写等能力训练,提高获取信息和处理信息的能力。
②培养学生的质疑意识,提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力;充分利用多媒体技术,培养学生组织语言、运用语言的能力。
3. 情感价值观:通过本节课的学习, 认识Jane Goodall从事这项工作的重要性,唤起学生理解动物、尊重动物和保护动物的意识。

Unit 1 Women of Achievements教案I. 教学内容分析本单元的话题是“取得成就的优秀女性”,通过介绍几位不同国度、不同时代、不同职业、不同理想与追求、不同经历的杰出女性,探讨了女性对社会、对人类的价值和贡献,展示了女性的风采和她们在社会各个领域的成就。
学习本单元有助于提高对妇女社会角色的认识,了解成功女性的奋斗经历和勇于斗争的精神,培养学生(尤其是女生)的事业心和社会责任感,建立正确的性别观和和自信心。
Warming Up部分给出六位不同国度、不同时代、不同领域的杰出女性的画片和简介,要求学生结合以前所学知识,讨论“伟人”和“重要人物”的区别,评判这六位杰出女性能否成为“伟人”,并给出自己的观点和理由。
Pre-reading部分提出了两个问题。
这两个问题要求学生思考两种不同的研究方法(即实验室研究法与野外研究法)的优势与不足。
Reading部分以“非洲野生动物研究者”为题,描写了简与她的同事们在非洲原始森林观察非洲黑猩猩的一个片段,并阐释她从事这项工作的重要性以及她所取得的成就。
Comprehending部分有四项练习,分别从不同层面引导学生进行阅读。
