教学过程
Step1：A Whole-class Survey (1) Make a simple and quick survey.
Students read the six things which are listed in 1a. Learn the phrase: around the world. Then teacher says, “boys and girls,if you think ‘happy’ is the most important thing, hands up.” The teacher counts and writes the number on the blackboard. Then like this survey the results of “go to college; be famous; travel around the world; make a lot of money and get an education”.(2) After th e survey, the teacher should analyze the results guide the students in a person’s life what the most important thing is and how he or she could make the dream come true. (3) Then students make sentences like this: If I go to c o llege, I’ll g et a good education. Rec ord the marks which each group gets. Step 2：Listening (1) Listen, put an “A” before each thing in 1a that the soccer agent (Learn the word) talks about and write a letter “P”before each thing Michael’s parents talk about.Then check the answers. (2) Students read the listening material in 2b, and try to complete the sentences before listening. Listen and check the answers. (3) Listen agai n and pay attention
to the different intonations between the soccer agent and Michael’s pare nts.
