Unit 3 Topic 2 What does your mother do Section B一.教学背景分析1.教材分析:本课的教学内容是仁爱英语七年级上册第三单元第二个话题的第二部分,该部分的重点学习内容是学会询问他人的工作以及掌握常见的职业名词,话题贴近学生生活实际。
本课的重点句型是“What does he/she do?”,重点词汇有show, work, hospital, restaurant, on, far m, teach, act, drive等。
本课的四会词均为职业名称,教学过程中要让学生发现这些名词以er或or结尾的拼写规律。
教师在课堂上要通过一系列的课堂活动和任务培养学生的听说读写等语言技能,提升学生的英语学习兴趣。
2. 学情分析1.学生在学习本课之前已学的职业名词有teacher, actor, driver, nurse, farmer, cook, office worker及表示身份的名词student。
因此,在导入和呈现环节,教师要遵循从已知到未知的学习规律,先呈现学生已知的词汇,然后过渡到新词汇。
2. 初一的学生好胜心比较强,课堂竞赛是激发学生学习积极性的好方法。
3. 本课主题为学生比较感兴趣的话题,教师要充分激活学生的生活常识,让学生在熟悉的语境中感知语言。
教师可让学生在课前记录自己父母的职业和工作地点。
4. 学生基础一般,学生程度参差不齐。
在设计这堂课时,任务应考虑学生的认知能力,从简到难,以适合各个层次的学生,使教学有效、高效。

Step I Pre-reading
1 Present a picture of Sun Li and Deng Chao.
T1: Who is she? S1...
T2: What clothes are she in? S2:…..
T3: Could you use the two sentences to make a sentence to introduce Sun Li?
Lead students to learn the sentence structure
The woman in white (in a white shirt) is Su Li.
2 Ask students to introduce Deng Chao as the example of Sun Li.
3 Present another picture of their children. Learn the new words: daughter ; son ; brother; sister
T1: Who are they? S1: They are their babies.
T2 : Sun Li is their mother and Deng Chao is their father.
They are their daughter and son.
The boy is the girl’s brother and the girl is the boy’s sister.
4 Go on presenting another picture of Sun Li’s parents. Learn the new words: grandparents; grandfather; grandmother
T1: Who is the woman? S1: She is Sun Li’s mother
. T2: She is the babies’ grandmother, too.
T3: What clothes are she in? S2:…..
Lead students to make a sentence like this.
The woman in yellow (in a yellow sweater) is Su Li’s mother.
5 Ask students to make similar sentences as the one above.
6 Ask students to look at the simple family tree. Review the new words.
Step 2 While –reading
T : We have learned Sun Li’s family. Now let’s look and understand 1a to look at Kangkang’s family.
T: Present a picture of Kang kang’s family.
1) Look at the people in his family. Lead students to look at the form
2)Ask students to read and understand 1a. Finish the form.
3) Check the answer.
4) Look at the form and ask students to make sentences according to the form.
5) Finish 1b. Then read it together.
6) Retell the passage.
7) Read 1a together.
Step 3 Post—reading
T: We have learned about Kangkang’s family. Now I want to learn about your family. Let us write a passage to introduce it according the form.
