一、教学设计学科名称 Unit1 How Tall Are You?

二、所在班级情况,学生特点分析

六年级的学生有了一定的语言综合运用能力,所以我在对话文本呈现前围绕内容设置悬念或问题,以内容铺垫,搭桥引入,趣味导入,给学生更多的发展空间。同时注意录音的呈现与模仿,使学生的发音带有“洋味”。

四、教学目标与要求

1、 能够听、说、读、写形容词的比较级形式:taller, stronger, older, younger,

shorter。

2、 能够听、说、认读句型:How tall are you? I’m...m tall. 并能运用句型来描述自己的身高。

3、 能够听、说、认读句型:You’re taller than your brother. I’m older than you.

并能用这些句型对年龄和身高进行比较。

五、教学重难点

1、重点:能够听、说、读、写形容词的比较级形式并会在实际情景中运用。

2、难点:能够用长度或重量单位对人、物、及动物进行描述。长度单位m的完整形式meter的发音也是本课时的教学难点。

六、课前准备

1、 教师准备本课时所需的五张单词卡片。

2、 教师准备录音机和录音带。

七、教学过程

1、 Warm-up

①.T: How are you? What’s he like? How tall are you ?

S:

Let’s chant

T: Tall, tall, tall, who is tall?

T: Short, short, short, who is short?

T: Young, young, young, who is

young?

T: Old, old, old, who is old?

T: Strong, strong, strong, who are

strong? Ss: Tall, tall, tall, I am tall.

Ss: Short, short, short, I am short.

Ss: Young, young, young, I am

young.

Ss: Old, old, old, I am old.

Ss: Strong, strong, strong, we are

strong.

②. Review

2、 Presentation

○1. Present “taller/ shorter”, “I am taller/ shorter than you.”

a. T: How is your feeling in your winter holiday?

Ss: I am happy.

T: Look, Lily is tall. Yao Fang is tall, too.

Who is taller, Lily or Yao Fang ? 板书:tall—taller. er用不同

Yao Fang is taller than Lily. 颜色强调,并拼读。

Ss: Lily is shorter than Yao Fang. 板书:short—shorter,

a. T: How old are you?

S7: I’m 13 years old.

T: Oh, I’m 24. I’m older than you. 板书: old—older. 并继续操

T: How old are you, S2? 练句型。

S8: I’m 12 years old.

T: I’m older than you.

T: I can say: you are younger than me. 板书: young—younger.

T: S7 is older than S8.

S8 is younger than S7.

○3. Present “stronger”

T: I think you are strong. Come here. 跟一个学生扳手腕,引出

T: You are stronger than me. stronger并板书。

T: Who is stronger, you or your deskmates? 同桌之间进行扳手腕比赛。

S9: I am stronger than you/her/him.

3、 Practice

①. T: Read after me: taller, shorter, older, younger, stronger.

Make sentences according to the picture. 给出各类学生熟悉的人或物 S12: …… S13: …… 用比较级进行描述。

②. Complete the sentences.

通过表格中的数据引导学生

猜测Age, Height的意思。
