(二)过程与方法:1.通过情景介绍的方式进行词汇或短语教学,让学生在情境中操练、理解并学会运用;2.采取Pair work或Group work问答式的口语交际活动,让学生运用表达方式和句型互相操练“过去某一时间正在做某事”;3. 采取与图片配对、圈出正确答案的听力方式帮助学生掌握听力技能;4. 采用Role-play的学习策略,利用课件引导学生自主学习,展开课堂教学。
(三)情感态度与价值观:培养学生在交谈中表达过去的动作在某一时刻发生,使学生能够提高自己的语言表达能力,并促使学生养成勤于观察,勤于思考和勤于记录的好习惯。

三. 情感态度价值观目标:通过课文内容学习引导学生学会统筹安排时间,明白自己在过去的某个时间点做了什么,爱惜时间,爱惜生命,了解暴风雨可能会给人类带来的危害,并热爱大自然,热爱生活。
2学情分析教学内容分析:Unit5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came ? SectionA 1a-1c 是人教版英语教材八年级下册第五单元的第一课时,也是本单元的重点内容之一,包含本单元重要的语言知识和重点语法,是一节以听说为主的课型。
本单元的话题是围绕“过去进行时”这一时态展开教学活动,在听说的过程中引入了本单元的主要语法--过去进行时态,并对这一时态进行了口语和听力的反复练习同时为本单元进一步学习打下基础。
本节课通过谈论暴风雨来临时人们正在哪里正在做什么让学生体会和学习过去进行时。
这个引入让学生置身于过去的某个时间点思考当时正在做的事情,让学生更深刻和具体的体会到过去进行时的用法.真正的达到在用中学习,学以致用。
本课以对话为主,重在培养学生的“说”的能力,同时在这一过程中,进行了“听”的能力训练,听说一体,相辅相成。
学生情况分析:经过小学三年和初中一年多的英语学习,八年级学生已积累一定的词汇量和语言功能用语,有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力。
同时,思维活跃,善于交流,乐于表达自己,渴望得到同学和教师的赞许也是他们的典型特点。
由于本课是本单元第一课时,听说任务较多,趣味性较强,所以通过简单任务的设置、有趣活动的开展、学生的综合性操练等多种方式提供可理解的语言输入,并使任务的难度一步步加深,充分激发学生的学习兴趣,最终达成本课的教学目标,升华学生的综合运用语言的能力。

4教学过程4.1第一学时4.1.1Step1:Warming up1.(1)师生问候。
(2)播放一曲描叙雨景的英文歌曲,歌曲的MV中展示大量的雨景图片及人物。
(3)谈论歌曲MV中的天气及人物正在做的事情。
T: What can you see in the MV ,class?What’s the weather like in the MV ?What’s the girl doing in the rain?【设计意图:课前播放英语歌曲提升学生的英语素养,还有助于学生以轻松的心态进入学习。
设计歌曲开篇意在让学生在欣赏和享受中学习。
谈论歌曲中的天气及人物正在做的事情可以引入今天新课相关话题,告诉学生今天的新课也和雨天有关,同时为过去进行时的学习打下伏笔。
】4.1.2Step2:Lead-in1.询问学生现在正在做什么,接着询问学生昨天此刻的情况。
T:What are you doing now, class?S:We are having an English class.T:What were you doing at this time yesterday, class?帮助学生回答出:S:We were having a PE class outside.2.PPT展示时钟时间,询问学生现在的时刻,随后出现相关图片。
询问学生图片中人物此刻在哪里正在做什么,学生做出相应回答。
接下来时钟的时针逆时针旋转两周,让学生观察,询问学生:时针发生了什么变化?学生通过观察会答出时间回到了昨天的这个时刻。
随后出现相关图片,询问学生图片中人物昨天的这个时刻在哪里正在做什么。
T:What is the time now,class?S:It is three o’clock.T:Where is the girl now,class?S:She is at home..T:What is she doing now,class?S:She is watching TV .T:Look at the clock ,what will happen?(让时针逆时针旋转两周)T:What happened just now,class?Yes,the clock hands ran. So what was the time?S:It was three o’clock yesterday.T:Where was the girl at three yesterday?S:She was at the library.T:What was she doing at that time,class?S:She was reading a .book.随后继续按此方法问答图片,并注意到单复数的练习。
【设计意图:学习是一个循序渐进的过程,先复习已学内容“现在进行时”然后自然延伸到新课学习“过去进行时”,符合学习规律,并通过时钟及图片让学生清晰感受新旧知识的对比,让学生接受知识更轻松,更明确。
】4.1.3Step3:PracticePPT给出一组带有过去具体时间的图片,让学生进一步单纯练习过去进行时态。
S1:What were the girl and the rabbit doing at this time yesterday?S2:They were drinking.S3: What was the girl doing at this time yesterday?S4:She was shopping.【设计意图:引入新知识后,对新知识的反复练习是必不可少的。
此部分是对句型的巩固及对学生“说”的能力的提升,给学生图片让他们更直观的了解过去进行时态,让他们越说越明白。
也就是说“先语言再语法”】4.1.4Step4:Presentation1.给学生播放一段暴风雨的短视频,引出新单词“rainstorm”。
2.Guessing gamePPT展示五幅图片,告知学生很多天前下了一场暴风雨,问学生这五幅图片中的人在当时暴风雨来临的时候都在做什么呢?把学生分成男女两组进行竞猜。
猜对给予相应得分。
学生一开始无法看到人物动作,竞猜完后老师揭示答案。
【设计意图:枯燥单一的练习必会降低学生学习的兴趣,怎么才能让学生既轻松理解语法又能快乐积极进行口语交流呢?我设计了这个竞猜游戏。
这个活动既突出互动合作又体现个性发展,每个学生都会有大家意想不到的答案。
学生“学在其中,乐在其中”】4.1.5Step5:Pre-listening1.学生看图片猜测昨天发生了什么,再次熟悉新单词“rainstorm”。
2.Let’s guess 在播放听力材料前,我把听力中会出现的人物事件做成图片,让学生在听前猜测图片中的人物在哪里在做什么。
T: Where were they and how do you know that? What were they doing when the rainstorm came last night? L et’s guess.S: I think the man was in the library.T: How do you know that?S: Because I can see many books and some people looking for books.T: What was he doing in your idea?S:I think he was reading at that time.【设计意图:由于进入八年级下学期后,听力材料越来越长,内容也越见复杂多样。
在听前这一步骤中,通过对各幅图片中人物及动作的猜测扫除了学生听中的障碍。
