其中《英语课程标准》提出了新的学习方式“自主学习,合作学习,探究学习”。
课堂教学中应遵循“以学生为主体,以教师为指导,以学生自主学习和探究为核心”。
课堂流程主要根据这点来设计。
1.运用“任务型“教学途径,培养学生语言运用能力。
读前侧重与学生已有知识的激活和对前一节课内容的输出。
读中通过Read for information 和Read for understanding 等环节来理解课文内容,读后通过表格和改写文章的形式复习巩固所学内容,此部分也侧重对文章整体思路的梳理,为写作指导做好铺垫。
2.阅读后学生通过合作学习和讨论来解决“How to save animals in danger“,老师通过导学案的辅助为学生的讨论提供思维导图和方向支持,探究这一问题。
最后老师通过改编的一首歌对学生的展示进行主题上的升华和德育渗透,告诉学生保护动物,最大的一方面就是保护动物赖以生存的环境,保护环境就是保护自己;同时还有最重要的一点,保护环境就是从现在做起,从日常生活的点滴做起,现在就开始行动!从而提高学生保护环境的自觉性。
3.教学环节从设计上不管是课前课中课后的歌曲展示都贯穿本模块的语言重点运用动词的不定式做宾语补足语和目的状语。
Objectives:➢Knowledge Objective: Students will understand and use vocabulary and concepts related to wildlife conservation and the role of WWF.➢Skill Objective: Improve reading prehension, and oral/written skills focusing on environmental protection.➢Attitudinal Objective: Encourage students to develop a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation.Teaching Aids:✓Textbook and workbook✓puter and Projector✓Videos or documentaries about WWF and wildlife conservation✓Reallife case studies or news articles about conservation efforts Teaching Procedures:1. Warmup(1)Start with a general discussion about wildlife conservation.(2)Ask students what they know about the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)and its efforts.2. Vocabulary Introduction1)Introduce and explain new vocabulary like "endangered,""conservation," "habitat," etc.2)Practice pronunciation and contextual usage of these words.3. Video Viewing(1)Show a short video or documentary clip about WWF and itsconservation projects.(2)Discuss the video and extract key points.4. Reading Activity1)Have students read the text in the unit carefully.2)Guide them to underline important information and challengingvocabulary.3)Discuss the content and clarify any difficult concepts or words.5.
