专题二冠词冠词，一种虚词，不能单独使用，一般用在名词前帮助说明名词的含义。
分不定冠词（a , an ）和定冠词(the )两类。
核心考点精讲考点一、不定冠词的用法泛指某一类人或物。
如：A panda is very lovely.表示数量“一”，但意义上没有one 强。
第一次提到某人或某物。
如：I have a book.表示“每一”，相当于every 。
如：twice a day用于某些固定词组中。
如： a little , in a hurry【巧学妙记】冠词a, an 两种帽，许多名词常需要。
开头读音若是元，要把an 帽来挑选。
辅音起首戴a帽，记住规律莫乱套。
注意：用a 还是an 是由因素决定的，而不是字母。
有的词虽然是元音字母开头，但其前要用a 如：an hour a useful book考点二、定冠词the的用法1、特指某（些）人或某（些）物如; The man in the car is Mr. Smith.2、指谈话双方都知道的人或物。
如: ------where is the post office ? 邮局在哪儿？-------Over there. 在那边3、指上下文已经提到过的人或物如：There was a man in the hotel. The man looked very tired.旅馆里面有一个人，他看上去很疲倦。
4、用在世界上独一无二的事物前。
如: the sun the earth5、用在西洋乐器前。
如：play the violin 拉小提琴play the piano 弹钢琴6、用在序数词和形容词最高级前如：This is the first lesson of this term.这是本学期的第一课。
He is the tallest in our school. 他是我们班上最高的。
7、用在方位名词前。
如：on the left/right 在左/右边In the east/west/south/north 在东/西/南/北部8. 用在姓氏的负数名词前表示“全家人”或“夫妇二人”如: The Blacks are getting ready for the holiday.布莱克一家人/布莱克夫妇正在为假日作准备。
9、用在某些形容词前，表示“某一类人”。
如：the young 年轻人the old 老年人10. 用在某些由普通名词构成的专有名词前。
如: the Summer Palace 颐和园the Great Wall 长城the Y ellow River 黄河the United States 美国11、用在某些固定词组中。
如: in the morning 在早上at the same time 同时In the open air 在户外on the way (to) 在途中At the top of 在…….顶部in the future 在将来In the end 最后终于考点三、不用冠词的情况1.名词前如果已经有this ，that，these，those和形容词性物主代词（my，his ，our…….）以及名词所有格等，则不用冠词。
如：This is my pen. These are Rose’s books.2.表示语言、学科、三餐、球类运动、棋类运动的名词前，不用冠词语言: Chinese , English , French , German , Russian ………学科: maths, history, biology, geography…..球类：breakfast , lunch , supper, dinner棋类：chess ，Chinese chess…..3.表示星期，季节，月份，节日的名词前不用冠词。
如：It’s a good idea to visit our old teachers on Teachers’ Day.教师节去拜访老教师是个好主意。
4、表示人名、国名、称呼语或头衔等的专有名词前不用冠词。
如：Captain Cook is very popular. 库克船长很受欢迎。
注：以下国家名称前用the：the United States / the U.S /the U.S.A美国the United Kingdom/ the U.K 英国5.在表示交通手段的介词短语中不用冠词By ship , by ait6.名词复数表示类别，以及不可数名词表示一般概念或类别时不用冠词如: they are workers.Paper is made from wood. 纸是用木材制成的7．在某些固定短语中，不用冠词如：day and night 日日夜夜face to face 面对面On time 准时at work 在工作on foot 步行考点四、有无the的意义区别有些名词前用the 与不用the ，意义有所不同。
