Product OverviewHuawei ® NetEngine40E Universal Service Router (NE40E) Series routers are high-end network products developed by Huawei. The NE40E Series routers are usually deployed at core nodes on enterprise wide area networks (WANs), access nodes on large-scale enterprise networks, interconnection and aggregation nodes on campus networks, and edge nodes on large-scale Internet Data Center (IDC) networks. Based on distributed hardware forwarding, non-blocking switching technologies, distributed Clos architecture, and industry-leading 2T bps platform, the NE40E Series routers have the following features:●Support for 1T routing line cards in each slot, with excellent compatibility with currently used line cards toprotect carriers' investments to the largest extent.●Line speed forwarding capabilities, industry-leading reliability, excellent scalability, a well-designedquality of service (QoS) mechanism, and strong service processing capabilities.●Powerful service access and aggregation capabilities and various features, such as Layer 2 virtual privatenetwork (L2VPN), L3VPN, multicast, multicast VPN (MVPN), and Multiprotocol Label Switching - Traffic Engineering (MPLS-TE).●Various service features, such as IP Security (IPSec), Network Address Translation (NAT), and NetStream.●Support for IPv6 and smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6.The NE40E can be flexibly deployed at the edge or core of IP or MPLS networks, simplifying network structure. NE40E简介及维护NE5000E/NE80E机箱36U（1U=44.45mm）高，外形尺寸为442mm×669mm×1600mm（宽×深×高）。

NE40E全业务路由器是华为公司面向新一代万兆级边缘交换路由器。

NE40E 的操作系统采用功能强大的通用路由平台VRP（Versatile Routing Platform）操作系统，具有超大容量、高性能和高可靠性的特点。

NE40E提供了功能强大的监控系统。

LPU为接口线路板,路由交换板SRU （Switch and Route Unit）上的主控模块MPU（Main Processing Unit）可实现对整个系统的管理维护。

主控模块可实现对单板、风扇模块、电源模块和时钟模块的管理、监控和维护。

NE40E完全满足EMC（Electro Magnetic Compatibility）要求，整个系统采用模块级设计。

并且每个拉手条采用整体钢板设计，实现了单板间的EMC隔离。

NE40E包括NE40E-8和NE40E-4两款产品。

NE40E-8外形尺寸为442mm×669mm×886mm（宽×深×高）;NE40E-4外形尺寸为442mm×673mm×442mm（宽×深×高）.防尘网主要作用是为机框内部各组件的散热进风提供灰尘过滤功能。

NE5000E/80E/40E系列路由器在进风框和电源面板安装有防尘网，二者的维护方法相同。

为了保证系统散热和通风状况良好，避免防尘网被灰尘堵住，必须定期清洗防尘网。

建议至少3个月定期清洗一次，机房防尘环境较差的清洗频率应更高。

NE40E配置４、MPLS配置mpls lsr-id 61.177.248.3 LSR ID使用IPv4地址格式，在MPLS域内唯一mpls 使能本节点的MPLSmpls ldp使能本节点的LDPinterface Pos1/0/1mpls 使能接口的MPLSmpls ldp 使能接口的LDP５、MPLS/BGP VPN配置ip vpn-instance edu 创建VPN实例，并进入VPN实例视图route-distinguisher 61.177.248.3:1 配置VPN实例的RDvpn-target 1000:10 export-extcommunity 为VPN实例创建VPN-target扩展团体vpn-target 1000:10 import-extcommunityinterface GigabitEthernet2/0/0ip binding vpn-instance edu 将当前接口与VPN实例关联ip address 10.1.0.2 255.255.255.0bgp 64522 配置PE-PE间使用MP-IBGP，PE之间必须使用32位掩码的Loopback 接口地址来建立MP-IBGP对等体关系，以避免由于路由聚合导致报文不能找到正确的路由。

到Loopback接口的路由通过MPLS骨干网上的IGP发布给对端PEipv4-family vpnv4policy vpn-target 缺省对接受到的vpnv4路由进行过虑，作为ASBR时，应禁止过虑。

peer 61.177.248.2 enable 使能对等体交换VPN-IPv4路由信息，会引起BGP会话重建立，取消也会引起BGP会话重建立，影响到用户的路由发布。

peer 61.177.248.1 enable配置PE-CE间使用静态路由，直连路由bgp 64522ipv4-family vpn-instance edunetwork 0.0.0.0 如需上公网，华为BGP 不把缺省路由当静态，需另发布一条。

外观NE40E系列主要包括NE40E-X16、NE40E-X8和NE40E-X3，适应不同规模的网络组网需求。
