在这些山的面前我们应该采取怎样的态度对待它？是通过“搬家”来避开它或找领导请求帮助；还是像愚公一样明知困难却迎难而上，凭借自己的力量勇敢的克服困难。
愚公不畏艰险，不怕困难，勇敢面对的精神，正是值得我们所学习的。
二、教学重难点1. 教学重点：1) 掌握本课时中出现的生词：remind, bit, silly, instead of；2) 学会询问故事发展的基本句型：How does the story begin?What happened next?3）学会表达故事中的人物或情节，并发表一些简单的看法或观点。

【教学重难点】重点：理解并掌握重点单词和短语；运用“as soon as, unless, so...that...”流畅地讲述故事并表达自己的见解。
难点：as soon as, unless, so...that...的用法。
【教学方法】情景教学法、小组合作学习法设计意图：目标引领，表述了本节课的知识、能力和情感目标。

设计意图：通过观看关于孙悟空的视频，激起了学生了解the Monkey King的强烈兴趣，吸引了他们的注意力，为下面的教学做好了铺垫。

Unit 6An old man tried to move the mountains.本单元教材以“谈论故事情节”为中心话题，围绕着学生非常熟悉的故事进行，学习和运用几个常见的句型：Where would they put all the earth and stone from the mountains？/What do you think about the story of Yu Gong？/The story is trying to show us that anything is possible if you work hard！/—How does the story start？—Once upon a time，there was a very old man./—What happened next？—As soon as the man finished talking，Y u Gong said his family could continue to move the mountains after he died.等。
在学习过程中，学生在交流中，能促进师生之间的感情。
Section A 主要学习once upon a time，remind sb.of sth.，a little bit, instead of，turn… into，get married等几个常见的短语及怎样讲故事。
通过短文介绍了《西游记》在英国放映的事情，增加了学生的阅读量。
Section B 安排了听、说、读、写的任务，通过《皇帝的新装》来训练学生的听力，通过《韩赛尔与格雷特》训练学生的阅读能力。
教师在教学中应合理利用课本上的知识进行教学。

Unit6 An old man tried to move the mountainsSection A (1a-2d) 说课稿我的说课内容是人教版八年级下册英语Unit6 An old man tried to move the mountains。
整个说课我将分为七个局部进展表达：即教材分析、教学目标、教学重难点、教学方法、学法、教学过程和教学反思。
一、说教材：本单元围绕“传奇和故事”这个话题，谈论过去发生的事情，重点训练“讲故事”这个语言功能工程。
通过学习，要求学生把握如何用过去时态表达一个故事，描述古老的传奇和好玩的故事，激发和培育学生学习英语的兴趣，理解并体会传奇和故事的教育意义。
在了解目标语言的根底上，要求学生能理解美丽的传奇和好玩的故事，把握故事的根本构造，表达自己宠爱的故事。
二、说教学目标：1.学问与技能：让学生学会用英语表达一个故事。
2.过程与方法：通过复述故事，让学生学会把握一个故事的细节和人物，并能利用目标语言表达一个传奇或故事。
3.情感、态度与价值观：教育学生在生活中不怕困难，培育他们不言放弃的精神。
三、说教学重难点：1.教学重点：学习表达故事中的人物和相关细节。
2.教学难点：学习本课时的目标语言，能用自己的语言表达一个故事。
四、说教法：本课时主要承受任务型教学法和带问题自主探究等学习策略，让学生理解故事的根本构造，通过Group-work 的形式引导学生谈论好玩的传奇和童话故事进展口语交际和听力训练。
五、说学法：1、擅长抓住用英语交际的时机，充分感知，乐观体验，大胆实践。
2、乐观参与，擅长合作，培育团队精神。
六、说教学过程：Step1. Warming-up.以学生生疏的一些故事为话题导入课，很多古老的故事有一个共同的特点：以“once upon a t i开m e头”。
Step2. Revision.提问本节课的重点单词和短语:射击石头虚弱的神上帝提示，使想起一点，小块愚蠢的从前移山有点儿代替；反而Step3. Presentation.1.Show the pictures in 1a, Have students point out the names of thestories.2.Ask students to match the names with the correct pictures.Step4. Listening.Have students finish 1b in books.Step5. Role-play.1.Ask students to read the conversation in pairs in 2d.2.Ask some students to role-play the conversation.Step6.
