Unit 1 Friendship（一）Book of Friends (なつめゆうじんちょう)夏目友人帐（Natsume Yuujinchou）绿川幸笔下的《夏目友人帐》仿佛能捕捉到人性细微的闪光点，串起人与妖之间数段不可思议的际遇。
它摒弃攀枝错节的剧情线，唯留质地通透的感悟，为放逐在外、漂泊无依的心耘出一片丰饶的栖息地。
那些不请自到，不告而别的人们，那些深埋心底的感情，那些无法言语的悲伤，那些甚是离奇的邂逅，宛如夏日里清凉的晚风，永远感动着我们，只因有你的存在，让这一切都变得温暖而美好。
Natsume Yuujinchou is a Japanese anime about a teenage boy who can see monsters since he was a little boy. After chassed by two devils, Natsume accidentlly broke a rope which is a barrier and frees Teacher Cat. Teacher Cat told him about a woman named Natsume Reiko, who can also see monsters. S he is Natsume’s grandmother. And then Teacher Cat asked Natsume about the ＂Natsume Yuujinchou ＂.夏目友人帐是讲述一个十几岁的男孩夏目贵志(なつめたかし)，在很小的时候就能看见妖怪的一部日本动漫。
夏目被两个妖怪追赶时，不小心弄断了一个结界的绳子，释放出了猫咪老师。
猫咪老师告诉了夏目一个叫夏目玲子(なつめれいこ)的女人也能看见妖怪，她就是夏目的祖母。
猫咪老师还向他询问关于＂夏目友人帐＂的事。
Natsume escaped to home that no one knows he can see monsters. Natsume found ＂Book of Friends＂,Teacher Cat suddenly appeared and tried to snatch the book but he failed. Teacher Cat told further explanation about the ＂Book of Friends＂,where names of monsters that Reiko has defeated was written.Having the book, it allows a person command a monster whose name is written in the book.夏目逃到了家，没有人知道他能看到怪物。
夏目发现了＂友人帐＂，猫咪老师突然出现并试图抢夺本书，但它失败了。
猫咪老师讲述了关于＂友人帐＂的事，其中说这是玲子击败妖怪并让它们将名字写在了上面。
友人帐有进一步的解释：拥有它的人可以指挥在上面有名字的妖怪。
Teacher Cat asked Natsume to give him the book but Natsume refused. He told Teacher Cat that he want to protect the book as a memory of his grandmother. The two deal that Natsume will return the name of each monsters in the book and if he dies, he will give the book to Teacher Cat. Then Natsume followed Teacher Cat’s instructionto return the name of the monsters.猫咪老师要求夏目给他友人帐，但夏目拒绝了。
他告诉猫咪老师，他要保护这作为他祖母的记忆的友人帐。
答应了两个协议，夏目将返还书友人帐中的每个怪物的名字，如果他死了，他会将这本书给猫咪老师。
然后夏目跟着猫咪老师的指令返回的怪物的名字。
Natsume Takashi夏目贵志When he was young, his parents died. After his gentle parents’ death, he started stray in his relatives. But all of his relatives who shelter him don’t like him,because his strange behavior. Also he classmates dislike him, and always called him liar.他小的时候，父母就死了。
在他的父母去世后，他开始在他的各个亲戚的家里辗转。
但他所有的亲戚因为他的怪异行为都不喜欢收留他。
此外，他的同学不喜欢他，经常叫他骗子。
The original shape of Teacher Cat猫咪老师的原形The Teacher Cat’s real name is Teacher Cat. Teacher Cat is a strong monster using Lucky Cat as its body. It has 3 colors and powerful skills. And he can speak.猫咪老师的真名是斑(まだら)。
斑是一个用招财猫(招き猫)作为身体容器的强大的妖怪，它有3 种颜色和强大的技能。
他会说话。
Natsume Reiko夏目玲子Natsume’s grandmother. Y uujinchou’s owner. She is a powerful woman. She beat various monsters and then set down their name in yuujinchouin .夏目玲子是夏目的祖母，友人帐的主人。
她是一个有强大妖力的女人。
她击败了各种妖怪，然后让他们把名字写在友人帐上。
Natori Shuichi名取周一(なとりしゅういち)He is a famous star and he can also see the devil and destroy devil on the side. He is Natsume’s friend. He help Natsume a lot, just like a brother. He has three followings. Zhong is a most loyal, they met each other when ming is a little boy.他是一位著名的明星，他也可以看到妖怪，摧毁在身边的妖怪。
他是夏目的朋友。
他帮助了夏目很多，就像一个哥哥。
他有三个属下。
柊是最忠诚的，另外，当名取周一是一个小男孩时他们就遇到过对方。
In his life, Natsume met a variety ofmonsters. Their life gave Natsume manyperceptions of life. And some monsters let himlearned tolerance and love.在他的生活中，夏目遇见了各种怪物，他们的生活给了夏目生活的许多看法。
和一些妖怪一起让他学会了宽容和爱。
（二）What is friendship?什么是友谊？When it rains, I think friendship is a small umbrella.下雨时，友谊是一把小小的雨伞，It can give me a piece of clear sky.给我一片晴空。
When I’m crying, I think friendship is a white handkerchief.哭泣时，友谊是一条洁白的手帕，It can wipe my tears dry.擦干我的眼泪。
When I’m sad, I think friendship is a warm word.伤心时，友谊是一句温暖的话语，It can bring me happiness again.使我破涕为笑。
When I’m in trouble, I think friendship is a very wonderful feeling.困境中，友谊是一种非常奇妙的感觉，It can’t be pulled and torn, because it is in everyone’s heart.拉不走，撕不破，因为它在我们所有人的心中，It is there from the beginning to the end of our lives.自始至终。
（三）The Value of Friendship友谊的价值Without friendship, one can not be happy though he is well off. Friendship is one of the greatest pleasures that people can enjoy. It is very difficult to find a better definition of friendship than given by the philosopher Aristotle in these words: ＂Two bodies inhabited by one soul. ＂True friends find pleasure in each other’s joy and share sorrow in each other’s grief. In times of trial, they will offer their help without hesitation.没有友谊，一个人尽管富有，他绝不可能幸福。
友谊是人们享有的最大乐趣之一，很难找到一个比哲学家亚里士多德关于友谊所给出的更好的定义：＂生有一个灵魂的两个躯体。
＂真正的朋友同甘共苦。
在考验面前，他们会毫不犹豫地给予帮助。
Since friendship is so valuable, we should be eager to find friends. We must choose those who have verygood character, superior ability and kind heart. On the otherhand, we should avoid those shallow people who can beeasily estranged by adversity or misfortune. Of course, wemust endeavouer at the same time to cultivate all those goodqualities in ourselves, so that we will be true friends ofothers. Such friendship will never be broken up, because thefoundation on which it is set up is quite firm and strong.既然友谊这样有价值，我们应当急于找一些朋友。
