一、说教材的地位和作用本单元主要围绕谈论动物和表达喜好这一话题展开各种教学活动,引出why 引导的特殊疑问句的问与答以及部分形容词的用法。
本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。
本课是本单元中的第一课时,通过描述动物、谈论喜好来引出本单元内容,如what ,where,why等引导的特殊疑问句,所以本课是本单元的引路者,作用非常重要。
二、说教学目标根据本教材的结构和内容分析,结合七年级学生的认知结构及其心理特征,我制定了以下的教学目标:1.知识目标:(1)掌握表示动物的名词和描述动物特征的形容词。
(2)掌握why 引导的特殊疑问句的问与答。
(3)let’s+动词原形表建议。
2.能力目标:学会描述动物和表达喜好。
3、情感态度价值观目标:(1)通过对动物的描述,培养学生热爱自然,保护动物的意识。
(2)通过对本单元的任务型小组活动,培养学生互相帮助、团结合作的学习习惯,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情;通过组与组之间的竞争,培养了学生的竞争意识和上进心。
三、教学重、难点本着初中英语新课程标准,在吃透教材基础上,我确定了以下的教学重点和难点。
重点:表示动物的名词和描述动物特征的形容词。
难点:学会用why提问原因,用because表达。
为了讲清教材的重、难点,使学生能够达到本节内容设定的教学目标,我再从教法和学法上谈谈。
四.说教法学法1、说教法(1)创设情境,引导学生在运用语言中学习语言,如我和学生自由谈论:你喜欢动物吗?你喜欢什么动物?为什么?并帮助学生回答,学生在回答的过程中就学习了本课的目标语言。
(2)开展多种类型的任务型活动,如两人一组问与答、个体独立完成听力、全班一起朗读单词等,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究性学习。
