My View on Online Learning。
In recent years, online learning has becomeincreasingly popular. With the development of technology, more and more people are turning to online learning as a way to gain knowledge and skills. As a student, I have had some experience with online learning, and I believe that it has both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, online learning is very convenient. You can study from anywhere, at any time, as long as you have an internet connection. This means that you don't have to travel to a physical location, which saves time and money. In addition, online courses are often more flexible than traditional courses. You can work at your own pace, and you can choose the courses that are most relevant to your interests and goals. On the other hand, online learning has some drawbacks. One of the main disadvantages is that it can be difficult to stay motivated. When you are studying alone, it can be easy to get distracted or lose focus. In addition, online courses often lack the personal interaction and supportthat you get from a traditional classroom. This can make it harder to ask questions or get help when you need it.In my opinion, online learning is a valuable tool, but it should be used in conjunction with traditional learning methods. While online learning can be convenient and flexible, it cannot replace the benefits of face-to-face interaction with teachers and classmates. Therefore, I believe that a blended approach, which combines online and traditional learning, is the best way to achieve academic success. In conclusion, online learning has both advantages and disadvantages. While it can be a convenient and flexible way to gain knowledge and skills, it can also be difficult to stay motivated and lack the personal interaction andsupport of traditional learning. Therefore, a blended approach is the best way to achieve academic success.。

作文是围绕同一个题目写的:“我为什么选修英语写作课?”Student Essay 1Why Did I Select the Course English Writing?1 Nowadays English becomes more and more important.2 If you open TV set [turn on a TV set] and pay a little attention tothe news, you will see that every citizen in Beijing is trying hisbest to learn English well to support the government in its effortsto hold the 28th Olympic Games in 2008.At that time, manyforeigners will come here to watch the games and the wholeworld will focus their eyes on Beijing. Then undergraduates inBeijing's universities can work as volunteers. We stand for thewhole country's youth. So we should learn English in order tocommunicate with foreigners3 Besides,I study economics.I know that there will be manycorporations [much cooperation] between China and foreigncountries after China enters WTO.According to theinternational rules [international rules], contracts are oftenwritten in English. If we don't know written English well, wemay find ourselves in an unfavorable position and seriousmistakes may often appear.4 And why haven't we Chinese gained any Nobel Prize of [for]literature up to now? We don't lack good works or writers, wejust lack good translates [translations of Chinese literature].5 For another reason,if I want to publish my papers abouteconomics in magazines of authority, I have to write in English, because such magazines are mostly published in English inforeign countries.6 So I choose [That's why I Chose] the course English Writing.Maybe in future foreigners can realize [appreciate] the essenceof Chinese works and know our country better through myefforts.
Student Essay 2Why Did I Select the Course English Writing?1 Nowadays,English is very important and popular all over theworld. It is an essential tool especially to college students.I wantto improve my English and I'm glad that l have selected thiscourse.2 There are five reasons for my selecting this course.First,I needto improve my English.Because I haven't passed the TsinghuaEnglish Proficiency Test I. I must work hard on English.Manyfamous professors of English that have written articles inmagazines say that writing is very important for English studyand it can improve one's various English abilities such asspeaking, listening and reading. So I want to have a try.Second,I want to learn English well.Perhaps some people want to goabroad and have a high grade in TOEFL or GRE,but I thinklittle of that.I only hope that I can use it in everyday life.Forexample,I hope I can read English papers easily and listen toEnglish programs without much difficulty. Third, I have knownfrom my classmates that this coarse is very good and you willget knowledge if you take this course seriously.Fourth,I aminterested in both Chinese and foreign literature.I am fond ofreading articles written by Lu Xun and Shakespeare. When Iread their works,I feel like taking a bath [being immersed] inthe sunshine. It is very comfortable.I have a dream that I canwrite some good articles one day.But I must first learn to writein English and make a firm foundation.Maybe I will become afamous writer in future.Fifth, English writing is my onlyselected English course.I can't give it up,or else I will have noEnglish class to enter [choose from].Many students around meare not as lucky as me.I will treasure this chance.3 Of course,I have another very important reason--I like English.Maybe I was tired of learning English before, but I treat it likean old friend now.I think that by taking this course I may makegreat progress in English, make some friends and gain muchhappiness.
