三、精讲课文
1、I believe that this house is for sale. 宾语从句。（【歌曲】I believe；【薯片】爱
比利）
= I think that... / I suppose that...【回顾Lesson 75/77/79】I’m afraid that...
/ I hope that...
for sale 供出售，有待出售。on sale 减价出售。例句：These books are on sale.
2、May I have a look at it? 【回顾Lesson 87】have a look at = look at
正式提出请求的方法：May I...? 例如：May I come in?（第一次进某人办公室）
较为随意的请求方法：Can I...? 例如：Can I come in?（比较熟悉了之后）
3、Yes, of course (you can). 省略回答。
4、Come in.（祈使句）Go out! Get out of here!
5、-How long have you lived(=been) here? -I’ve lived(=been) here for twenty years.
现在完成时，表示从过去开始的动作或状态一直持续到现在。（划线部分提问）
“for+时间段”是现在完成时的标志性时间状语。
例句：-How long have you studied in that school? -I’ve studied there for two years.
6、Twenty years! 感叹句。
7、That’s a long time. 一般情况下time是不可数名词，但在这里是指一段时间。
口语：Long time no see! 好久不见啊！
8、I’ve been(=lived) here since 1976. “since+时间点”也是现在完成时的标志性时间状语。
例句：since last month, since I was a child, since you left me
9、-Why...? -Because... 因果问答。
10、How much does this house cost? 询问价格的常用语。cost的主语是物（花费人多少钱）。 =How much is this house? 例句：How much are these books?
11、That’s a lot of money! = What a lot of money this house cost! 感叹句。
12、It’s worth every penny of it. 前一个it代指house，后一个it代指money。
penny 便士，1 pound = 100 pennies。
例句：The computer is not worth so much money / 1000 pounds.
13、I can’t decide yet. 这里yet也可以用于现在时否定句中，表示“迄今仍未”。
14、(Because) my wife must see it first. 此句之前可以加上because来表示原因。
【回顾】must的用法。first 首先，第一的。
15、Women always have the last word. 注意这里的word是“话”的意思，不要写成words。
have the last word = have the final say 最后说了算。
