Step2 Revision (5minutes)
(1) Review these prepositions : on, in, under, behind, in front of, next to
(2) Review the pattern: use the prepositions to make some sentences, then write the sentences on
the blackboard, review the pattern “can do”, and get the students to say the English of the following Chinese.
(3) Use gestures to act prepositions.
Step3 Presentation (15 minutes)
(1) Present the conception of preposition: describe the position relations between two things.
(2) Present the pattern of “there be”
Explain: There is + countable nouns single forms \ uncountable nouns
