第3课时
一、教学目标
1. 让学生通过念谜语、猜谜语，学习对物品的形状、颜色、味道等进行综合描述。
2. 通过儿歌诵读让学生学习辅音字母p和b在单词中的发音。
二、教学重难点
重点：
在情境中运用本单元所学的知识对物品的形状、颜色、味道等进行综合描述。
难点：
辅音字母p和b在单词中的发音。
三、教学准备
教学课件、水果等。
四、教学过程
Part A
Step 1. Presentation
1. Try to read
教师出示图片以及单词：pig, bag。学生拼读单词。尝试感知辅音字母p，b的发音。
设计意图：通过自然拼读，让学生学习辅音字母p和b在单词中的发音。
2. Listen and circle
教师出示Learn the sounds 部分的歌词，播放录音，学生听录音，教师引导学生圈出含有Bb和Pp的单词。
设计意图：通过听音圈单词，引导学生初步掌握含有Bb和Pp的单词。
3. Listen and follow
教师出示Learn the sounds 部分的歌词，并播放录音，学生听音跟读。
设计意图：通过儿歌诵读让学生学习辅音字母p和b在单词中的发音。
Step 2. Practice
1. Look and say
教师出示含有b和p字母的单词，引导学生尝试读出来，也可以让学生想一想含有相同发音
2 / 4 的单词，并说出来。
设计意图：通过单词记忆，回忆已学单词的同时，考查学生的单词储备量，巩固字母b和p的发音。
2. Tongue twister
教师出示两段关于字母b和p的绕口令，老师带读，学生跟读。然后两两组队比拼，看谁读的又快又准。
设计意图：通过绕口令的小游戏，练习学生的发音，激发学生的兴趣。

课件出示歌词：

师生一起拍手说唱歌谣。
设计意图：活跃课堂氛围，复习巩固上一课时知识点。
2. Free talk
教师呈现苹果的图片，提问学生，引导学生了解用how引起的问句提问，除了给出味道的答案，还可以给出描述形状的答案。
T: What is it?
Ss: It’s an apple.
T: How is it?

S2: It’s round.
S3: It’s big.
设计意图：通过对上节课句型的复习，引出形状的描述，为下个环节铺垫。
Step 2. Presentation
1. Look and learn
课件出示图片、单词以及句子：
(1) round
(2) It is red and round.
(3) It is yellow and round. It is sour.
学生看图尝试理解英语所表达的含义。
设计意图：图文结合的方式帮助学生更好的熟记单词以及句子。为之后的猜谜打基础。
2. Read and guess
课件出示对水果的形容：
(1) It is red and round.
It is sweet.
What is it?
(2) It is yellow and long.
It is sweet.
What is it?
(3) It is orange and round.
It is sweet and sour.
What is it?
学生读句子，猜测所形容的水果是什么。
设计意图：让学生通过念谜语、猜谜语，学习对物品的形状、颜色、味道等进行综合描述。
3. Listen and follow
教师呈现Look and learn部分的录音，学生听音跟读，模仿语音语调。
设计意图：通过听音跟读，练习学生的口语，为后面的练习打下基础。
Step 3. Practice
Look and guess
4 / 4 教师呈现一些谜语，学生根据描述猜出该谜题。
(1) It is yellow and long. It is a fruit. Monkeys like it. What is it? (A banana)
(2) It is green on the outside and red inside. It is sweet and juicy. You like it in summer. What is it?
(A watermelon)
(3) It is red and round. You can cook it or eat it as it is. It is sweet and sour. What is it? (A tomato)
(4) It is soft. It is very sweet. It is cold. It comes in white, red, brown and many different colours.
It is bad for your teeth. What is it? (An ice cream)
(5) It is orange on the outside and orange inside. You can make it into juice. It is sweet and sour.
What is it? (An orange)
学生也可以根据这些谜语，自己编谜题给同伴猜测，可以是以往学过的食物、动物、文具等。
设计意图：通过猜谜游戏，激发学生的学习兴趣的同时，可以掌握描述物品特征的词句。
Step 4. Production
Let’s play
学生自己开了一家水果店，其他学生过来购买食物，询问价格。
S1: Welcome to my fruit shop. Please taste this. How is it?
S2: It’s sweet. Is it orange candy?
S1: Yes, it is.
S2: How much is it?
S1: One yuan.
根据购物的情况，结算自己的收入。
设计意图：通过创设情境，帮助学生运用所学语言进行真实的交流。
Step 5. Homework
1. 演唱Learn the sounds部分的儿歌。
2. 编谜语给同伴猜一猜。
