By making banana milk shake, lead in the linking words, first, then, after that, while, in the endStep 2 Analyze the passage1.Read the text and complete the gaps with linking words and then check the answers.2.Match the topics with each paragraph and check the answers. After that lead in the key words of each paragraph: the introduction, the beginning, the development, and the conclusion.3.Show students an outline and guide them to answer some questions according to this outline. To make the students understand my task, I will give them an example on paragraph 1. After setting an example, I will give them some time to find their answers and underline them on books.Step 3 Consolidate the passage1.After analyzing the passage in detail, give students 2 minutes to try to retell the passage according to the outline .2.Looking back at the passage again, besides the outline, what else should we pay attention to? Tell students the importance of title, tense, and person. Ask them to make a title for this text.Step 4 Writing: Describe a birthday party you have been to1.Brainstorm.
