Unit9 happy new year 说课稿Today I’m going to talk about my ideas on teaching Unit9 Happy New Year of Oxford English 1A.First, I’d like to say something about the teaching content and the aims of the lesson.We know that Oxford English offers ample language input covering a wide range of subjects. The topics are well organized focusing on the students’ world, as well as Unit9 Happy New Year.The aims of the lesson are:1. Knowledge of language: Students learn “Happy New Year. Thank you. The words of a card, a doll, a red packet”, and be able to put them into use in situations.2. Practical skills: Students develop their listening and speaking skills, cooperative skills and communicative skill.3. Personal development: Students’ sense of cooperati on and competition.Focus:1. Students’ command of “Happy New Year. Thank you. And the words: a card,a doll, a red packet”.2. Students’ sustained interest in learning English.Difficulties to overcome:Students’ command of “Happy New Year. Than k you. And the word: red packet”.Second, my way of teaching.We know that the class should be a student-centered one.I shall be a guide to encourage student-autonomy and teacher-student interactions. This will help the classroom atmosphere where students can best learn.The ultimate goal of teaching is not just to familiarize students with knowledge, but to make students aware that they are masters of learning and need to put the language into use. So it is necessary to give them some initial drills. This is to train their communicative skills, which can result in active learners and their full classroom activities.The class should give full play to the three key roles: the teacher, the students and the textbooks. I believe if this situation can happy, students will be given the best kind of environment for learning.The lesson should go beyond the textbook boundary. I believe an adequate amount of language input is necessary before the students are able to use the language. Their communicative skills can be achieved only when they have had enough input and when their knowledge of language is put into use. For this reason, there should be a number of extension exercises to make the language happen in an authentic situation.Teaching English at pri mary schools aims at students’ basic skills listening, speaking and their interest in English, so I shall try my best to make good use of non-verballanguage, such as the empathetic tone, an encouraging look or an exaggerated gesture, to make the students feel at ease in class. CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction), colorful pictures and etc are useful visual aids to draw the students’ attention and involvement. Besides, I shall design some games, nursery rhymes and etc to motivate the students.。
