专题七非谓语动词一、不定式和动名词作主语的区别1、动名词作主语通常表示抽象动作;而不定式作主语表示具体动作。
2、名词作主语时,通常用以表示一件已知的事或经验。
不定式短语通常用来表示一件未完成的事或目的。
3、不定式做主语,一般用it当形式主语,把作主语的不定式短语后置。
二、不定式、动名词和分词作表语的区别1、不定式作表语1)不定式作表语一般表示具体动作,特别是表示将来的动作。
2)如果主语是不定式(表示条件),表语也是不定式(表示结果)。
3)如果主语是以aim, duty, hope, idea, job, plan, problem, purpose, thing, wish等为中心的名词,或以what引导的名词性从句,不定式作表语是对主语起补充说明作用。
2、动名词作表语:动名词作表语,表示抽象的一般性的行为。
(注)动名词作表语时与进行时态中的现在分词形式相同,但其所属结构迥异,进行时态说明动作是由主语完成的。
动名词做表语,说明主语的性质或情况。
3、分词作表语分词做表语有两种情况,一种是现在分词做表语,一种是过去分词做表语。
这类词常见的有:interesting –interested,exciting –excited,delighting –delighted,disappointing --disappointed encouraging –encouraged,pleasing –pleased,puzzling –puzzled,satisfying ---satisfied,surprising –surprised,worrying --worried三、不定式和动名词作宾语的区别英语中大多数动词既可跟不定式,也可跟动名词作直接宾语,但有些动词要求:1、不定式做宾语和宾语补足语1)下面的动词要求不定式做宾语如afford,aim,appear,agree,arrange,ask,be,decide,bother,care,choose,come,dare,demand等2)下面的动词要求不定式做宾补:动词+宾语+动词不定式如ask, beg, choose, expect , hate, help intend,like, love, need prefer, prepare, promise 等2、有少数动词只能用动名词作宾语如admit,acknowledge, appreciate, avoid, consider, contemplate, delay, deny,feel like 等3、动词后使用动名词和动词不定式作宾语的差别1)forget to do 忘记要去做某事;forget doing忘记做过某事2)stop to do 停止正在做的事而去做另一件事;stop doing 停止正在或经常做的事3)remember to do 记住去做某事;remember doing记得做过某事4) regret to do对要做的事遗憾;regret doing对做过的事遗憾、后悔5)try to do努力、企图做某事;try doing试验、试一试某种办法6) mean to do打算,有意要;mean doing意味着7)go on to do 继而去做另外一件事情;go on doing 继续原先没有做完的事情8)propose to do 打算要做某事;proposing doing建议做某事9) like /love/hate/ prefer +to do 表示具体行为;+doing 表示抽象、倾向概念(注)如果这些动词前有should一词,其后宾语只跟不定式,不能跟动名词。
专题七非谓语动词一、基本分类非谓语动词分为三类:分词(现在分词和过去分词)、动名词和动词不定式。
它们具有名词和形容词的某些特征,因而可以作主语、表语、宾语、定语和状语。
1.分词(1)感官动词或使役动词后的现在分词作补语表示动作正在进行,不定式作补语表示动作发生的全过程。
I saw him walking across the road.(正在穿过马路)I saw him walk across the road. (看到过了马路的全过程)(2)及物动词的过去分词(done)与现在分词的一般被动式(being done)都有被动意义,前者表示动作完成,后者表示动作正在进行。
The picture fixed on the wall was presented by a friend.(已经被钉在墙上了)The picture being fixed on the wall was presented by a friend.(正被钉在墙上)注意:不定式有表将来之意。
The picture to be fixed on the wall was presented by a friend.(将要被钉在墙上)(3)分词的独立主格结构:如果分词短语的逻辑主语与句子的主语不一致,需用一个独立结构(即保留分词的逻辑主语)或者由一个with / without引导的介词短语表达。

(2)动名词的复合结构作宾语,动名词的逻辑主语可用宾格代词或不带所有格。

(2)动词不定式作结果状语时常用于too...to do,enough to do,so/such...as to,only/just to do结构中。

(3)在be happy/glad/sorry/sad/surprised to do sth结构中作原因状语。

专题七非谓语动词一个简单句只能有一个动词做谓语,这个动词叫谓语动词;在这个简单句中,其他没有做谓语的动词,不管有多少个,都不能做谓语,这些动词就叫非谓语动词。
谓语动词要以谓语动词形式表达出来,非谓语动词要以非谓语动词的形式表达出来。
非谓语动词包括:动词不定式-to do动名词-doing现在分词-doing过去分词-done非谓语动词,顾名思义,就是不是做谓语的动词;非谓语动词除了不做谓语,可以做主语、宾语、定语、状语和表语等各种其他句子成分。
要掌握非谓语动词的用法,就是要掌握不同非谓语动词在各个句子成分的不同含义和用法。
一、非谓语动词的用法区别从含义上大略可以区别:过去分词-done一般表示被动、完成的意思,所以从主动和被动方面先可以把过去分词和动词不定式、现在分词、动名词区分开来。
动词不定式一般表示目的、还未发生的动作。
现在分词一般表示正在进行或与谓语动词同时发生的动作。
动名词具有名词的特性,在句中一般做主语、宾语、表语。
所以,就区别to do与doing的区别就可以了。
1、to do与doing(动名词)的区别(主要是在做主语、表语和宾语时的区别)(1)做主语和表语的区别一般来说,在表示比较抽象的一般行为或者经常性行为时多用动名词;在表示具体的某次动作,特别是将来发生的动作,多作不定式。
做主语:Smoking is prohibited here.此地禁止抽烟。
To invite him to tomorrow party is necessary.邀请他参加明天的聚会是必要的。
做表语:My job is teaching English .我的工作是教英语。
Our task now is to increase food production.我们现在的任务是增加粮食产量。
表语是以下一些词,一般用动名词做真正主语:注意:it是形式主语,动名词是真正主语。
It’s no use talking like that.It’s a waste of time arguing with him.这种句型,表语是其他词,用不定式做真正主语。
非谓语动词一、非谓语动词的用法非谓语动词命题规律非谓语动词包括不定式、动词-ing形式和过去分词三种形式。

b. 动词-ing形式(现在分词)可作时间、原因、方式、伴随、结果、让步等状语。
③过去分词作状语:a. 过去分词作状语时与句中主语构成逻辑上的动宾关系,且先于谓语动作发生。
b. 某些动词的过去分词已经形容词化,此时作状语时相当于形容词作状语。
