Today, let us know about the basic situation of the United States.◆教学过程设计Step1. DiscussLet the students talk in groups and demonstrate what they know about the U. S. Have they searched on the Internet? Ask them to have a list of what they know. Then report to the class. The teacher sums it in the class. Step2. Demonstrate know by leading individual students through a dialogue. Use a variety of questions based on this unit. For example:T: (points to China or Canada.) What country is this? ( Point to a student) Do you know?S1: _________.T: Yes! You know the country. This country is China/Canada. (To a different student. ) What do we/they speak in China/Canada?
