Its name was Old Boy. Why was it so attractive?
Firstly, the plot of this film was simple but really reflected the real life of the generation of 70s and 80s. Here are the elements in the film: break dance of Michael Jackson, the high school uniform with one drab color, a guitar that lay in the dormitory, a class beauty girl.... Considering them, a light broke in upon me: What was the thing that could move people most in current gorgeous society? The answer was the enthusiasm of youth period that exist in one's memories.
The director Yang Xiao and main performer Taili Wang, they had the hard experience of life, so they could express their true sentiments fully in the script of Old Boy. You would examine your own conscience, asking yourself: Am I away from my initial dreams farther and farther?"
Secondly, the theme song Old Boy was a successful and melting one that contained too many kinds of affections. When hearing the distressed melody and lyrics, many net citizens cried with tears trickling down cheeks. Under high pressure from real life, they eventually found a place to give full vent to their sorrows, helplessness, and despair.

Life is just like a graver, cold and rutheless
Which has changed our appearance
Would the flower withered up
Before it ever had a chance of blooming
I used to have a dream
Youth is like a swift river
Rushing by and there being no time to say goodbye
I have been left over, numb and unsympathetic
A beautiful flower faded
At the most beautiful time in spring
But who remembered it has ever lived in this world
Have you realized your dreams at that time
Maybe we are forced to hold a memorial ceremony for them now
However hard I have tried
I could not find my true self at last
